I felt bored today so I wired up my buggy for some poor tank or apc to be suprised...

I jumped out of the helicopter a wee bit early. (I was on the MEC team trying to get to enemy carrier)
 
Press printscreen while your playing, then go to 'My Documents" and go into Battlefield 2/screenshots.Wallah
 
Yeah I know where printscreen is. ;) And no it doesn't work for me. That is why I took a picture of my monitor I did press prtscn and it was not in that folder...
 
go look in ur controls, there is a special key for screenshot, F12 i think or F11. nothing special about C4, i take out groups of enemies allt he time with it

Yes, it does suck. Unfornately, mine happens from idiots having 200+ping.

Anyways, downloaded another mod that allows 32-64-128Bots.

WARNING! If you see this mod keep it 32 to 64. 128 will blow almost any comp!
It ****ing mad. Jack's comp crashed 15 minutes after all the BOTs got near him.

I leave mine on 32 Bots and am getting the Realism Mod 3.0 put in later.

1.03 patch. It's not your or other people's connections. The game is bad with online play and dealing with servers in general.

Yep although I think alot of the problems are to do with the way PunkBuster is intergrated. I started having problems with connection failing for no apparent reason, so I downloaded the manual updater thing from their website. Low and behold not all of my PunkBuster files had been updated...

Always used to annoy me in BF : V when I'd get kicked from the server just because stupid PunkBuster timed out :grumpy:

Still I suppose its worth it if reduces the number of cheaters 👍
 
The 1.03 patch isn't due out until the end of this month.. I think they are just working on the servers again.

What weapon to unlock depends on what gear you use the most.. The G3 - G36C and L85 are all really good mid-range sniper weapons. The G3 has the best close quaters combat power, with the L85 coming in second.

Damage per shot -

G3: 40
L85A1: 32
G36C: 25

My personal opinion. The G3's clip is too small, the L85 feels really weak on full auto, and I can't think of one bad thing to say about the G36C other than most of the Spec Ops weapons are good so why add another to the list.

Stay away from the M95. It has the same damage as the US M24 Sniper Rifle and it's less accurate.
 
How do you figure? When I get shot by a M24 it does a little more then half of my health gone. Then when an M95 hits me I have two litte bars left. The M24 has some caliber and the M95 has .50. Honestly you can't say something with a .50 has the same damage with not that big of caliber. I know which hit me because of the difference in the tone when fired.

Yes the G3 is VERY good. My first unlock. My next i'm going to get at Corporal is the G36C.

To add on to the sniper rifle thing. The M95 also shoots through bullet proof glass (ie helicopter windows, jet windows). It's definetly a powerful weapon but regardless the rifle, as a sniper your score is just going to be lower.
 
In terms of stats, the M95 has the same damage points as the M24. You can see this in the code somewhere. I've come to assume that the only advantage of the M95 is shooting a pilot in a jet (Joker style :D) and that's not exactly easy is it(?)
 
It is if you have a good vantage point. One head shot with both yes kills. But I'm sure the two do seperate amounts of damage. I don't care about code I know when an M24 is hitting me and when an M95 is.
 
un_peacekeeper: You've clearly got a lot of sniper kills, but your stats also show that if you want to get quick kills, then being the assault trooper is better.
 
It doesn't matter if you care about the code, it's there. Go to ANY BF2 forum and this topic has been beaten to death. It's called BALANCE. I suppose you think one of the pistols is stronger than the other right? :lol:

The M95 can shoot through bulletproof glass, and what most people don't know is it can shoot through the bp glass of vehicles. (humvee/vodnik and that other thing) If the weapon didn't have horrible sights, poor accuracy at anything over mid-range, this might mean something.

Don't get me wrong I've made some incredible shots with this gun, but the FACT is it's just not worth it.
