WORST - The Mitsu EVO 10 FQ300 with the Escudo V6 is so horrible, the tuuuuurbo Laggggg is so mind numbingly bad and slow.

BEST - Havent quite found the best yet, but a close contender maybe the Porsche Cayman GT4 with the GAC Mavercik V8 plant is so EPIC! It is so quick and mental!
The Escudo+EvoX REQUIRES a clutch kick! But that just makes it MORE fun.

My favorites:
Trans Am with whatever the first swap was. Keep the RPMs low to save fuel. It has massive low end torque.
02 RX-7 with the 26B. This is a challenge to drive well but very rewarding. It's good on gas.
R33 with the R92CP engine: Absolute beast with 4 wheel drive.

Most hated: I seem to recall wasting a 26B on a Mazda 3.
Cappuccino with 13B. Good swap, but not as effective as it once was. Try it anyway though!
Raptor: This should have gotten a Gen 3 Coyote. Still the old 351 is decent. It passes EVERYTHING but a gas station!

In my humble opinion and based on my very poor driving and tuning skills, I like these swapps a lot:

  • Dodge Charger RT '68
  • Ford Mustang Boss '69
  • Civic eg Sir '93
  • Jaguar XJ220 '92
  • Nissan Silvia S13 '88
  • VW '66
  • Porsche 911 (994) '92
  • Corvette ZR1 C4 '89

Is it good or bad for you? I personally have done it with my Alpine A110 and its pretty good with a bit of tuning.
It did tje job easily.silvis Q with same motor is good on top end I just haven't figured out tje gearing so it's not so slow taking off even with nos

Season 6 What GIF by The Office

i like the fairlady z34 '08 with engine swap due to being very good with fuel economy at the 700pp lvl, the xj220 '92 with the engine swap due to being a rocket at lemans, the evo lancer '96 due to the acceleration off the starting line. dislike the maverick in a truck since it slides everywhere when i did it at willow springs.

I don't know about best, but I absolutely know the worst - the Suzuki VGT engine swap that has a massive problem with what feels like clutch slip over 8,000rpm. What's the point of a bike engine swap if you're best bet is short shifting at VTEC Honda revs?

I'm yet to find good use for the swapped Trans-Am..
The civic engine in the Honda Beat makes a monster K Car.
Numerous other swaps can work really well assuming you don't need to go round corners, cue the LS7 powered Nissan Sylvia Q, 240mph towards the next squealing mess of a corner......
Yup the swapped Silvia was not a good choice it corners like it's on ice

I could see the RCF's additional swap - the 2JZ - potentially being a superior option in the broader term than the Chiron's engine, as I imagine that the 2JZ could have a wider range of power outputs. Meanwhile, I don't think you can get as low with the Chiron's engine, even with the power limiter and full-customize ECU turned all the way down.

So um, I like wagons and got a nice Volvo off the used market, so remembering the 90s wagons in the btcc, I thought I'd build it out. So um, only one engine fit, seems to be a blown ls7 with over 1000hp lol. I bought all the aero and suspension goodies I could throw at it, and racing softs, and I am spinning in 5th gear hahahhaaha.

Soooooo how do I make it drivable?
