best handling road car?

What are you talking about?
As much as I love that car, I can't say it has good handling. Even on Racing slicks it loves oversteer like no other. IF you can manage to control this beast of a car, you'll be able to get some impressive moves out of it.

Best handling I think would be the Honda NSX. Seriously, not a lot of cars can be so easy to drive while at the same time but down impressive times.

Meh, "best handling" is pretty relative. I love taking that thing around the hairpins on Eiger. A bit of throttle coming around, dab of oppo and peg the throttle again. I always know what it's going to do, and I can make it do what I want it to.

Some cars are easier to handle, sure, but that isn't inherently better handling.

True, I mean, if you can drive it, yes, that thing is amazing.
Were it easier, I'd say it's one of the best.

The Clio and Elise are also really good in the corners. Mainly short wheelbase cars are the best bet.

The NSX is a very good car to drive, being easy to drive is a bonus.

The S2K gt1 Turbo can take corners faster then ANY road car in the game, and it takes the last corner at HSR faster then any of the LMP or Group C cars are able to.

So Im gonna put it at the top of my list.

Any car with front downforce is going to be the fastest.

Speed 12
R390 Road
Enzo
ZZ II
McLaren F1

etc...

I've never bothered driving my Caterham 7...but I'd imagine it would be a top 3 street car on a short main straight course.

The Fireblade is untouchable on the corners (properly setup) but is seriously lacking in streight line acceleration.

Nissan GTR / Nissan GTR SpecV
Best handling cars ever made.
How can you even say that MR drive cars are the best handling ones?
McLaren F1 is the hardest street legal car to drive in GT5 (all aids including ABS off).
MR cars have the most potential but are never the easiest ones to drive.

Because people have opinions that differ and handling is vague and subjective.

For example, I really don't like the way the GTR handles. I suggested the Lancia Stratos as the "best handling road car". I much prefer the F1, or nearly any other MR to the GTR.

Simply saying something is the best doesn't make it true.

I like the nissan gtr vspec 09 and the gtr 07. A fully modified gtr 09 on nurburgring gp is running close times to a fully modified zonda r and a fully modified zr1 with racing mod. I beats the ford gt 06 fully mod, viper acr fully mod. I just started over because I lost all my data sunday evening. It is faster on rome circuit than the 2 murcielago, the gallado, all farari road cars, the 2 mclaren, audi r8 5.2,
sls amg. All the cars I named were fully modified.

:dopey:👍

Probably the Ferrari 458 Italia. GT-R is quite easy to drive, and i'm a massive fan of how the Mclaren F1 drives, it gets the best out of me.

In the 600-650hp range on racing tires it's a blast... drifting on corner exit is really fun. :)

Frankly anything on racing tires handles good if not great. Street cars tend to lose their 'streetiness' with slicks...

In my experience the best handling cars are propably the GT-R v-spec and the Scuderia. Not the most fun cars though. :)

Edit:
Of course the Citroen 2 CV is number one because of its adaptive air suspension which will hold the car until 65% bank angle.
Second is VW Käfer from 1949. It will never loose grip, no matter how hard you push it.
