viper team oreca :irked: :irked: :irked: no waay man. that sound like every other race car. i got my shelby yesterday and did exactly what u guys told of. :D :D MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH sounded fantastic.

gt40. gotta love that V8. i'm going to have to try that shelby thing too... haha.

See my signature!! 👍

that sound hurt my ears just revving, just imageine what it sounded like at full tilt

Yes, it's a truly awesome sound isn't it?

skyline.
and ummm. TREUNO~! haha jkjk.

i wonder why there isn't a 86 LEVIN in gt3 :(

The Castrol Mugen NSX at around 6000rpm also sounds quite cool, as does a 300bhp Elise.

I'm going to have to jump on the GT40 bandwagon... It sounds like a real engine, not a 'bee in a shoebox' as someone so eloquently put it in another thread.

So what car sounds the best?

I'd have to say a fully modded skyline, at around 2000RPM.
Also, a Shelby Cobra at 0mph, shift into 4th, then start accelerating around 2000-2500RPM, it's fantastic. 👍

Aston-Martin Vanquish.

Yes the Vanquish sound lovely.

I like the sound of the GT1 Race Car, 787B, GT40 Race Car and the Vauxhall Calibra Touring car :)

I love the sound of the 787B. Rotary power! The esperante has a unique sound. The Vanquish is the best sounding Street car, IMO.

787B in GT3 screams alot. But it does sound pretty good. I hate the way the RX-7 sounds in GT3.

Darin
Panoz Esperate GTR1, hands down. That sound is fresh from a 7.0 liter V8. Gotta love the deep sounds.

The corvette should have that same sound also, but the crackheads of PD made it sound like a ricer.
Which Corvette? I think the LT1's and LS1 sound great (GS, Z/28, SS) but the LT6 (Z06) sounds horrid.

As for favorite sound, I like the 787B screamer, the FC3S (cause it sounds like a restrictor plate motor) and the Louts Espirut V8-SE with racing exhaust/Mustang Cobra R with racing exuaist (apparently they sound the same).

JW31, there should be an Eight-Five Levin in GT4 👍

yeah, yeah. all about race cars sounding like 'bee in a box'. iv had enough of cars sounding like that. its roaring, rasmpaging big capacity engines for me now. gt40. vanquish, esparente etc. gotta love'em man.

Sux for the Viper motor because (in real life) it sounds stuck somewhere in the middle. Both viper engines, the 488 ('93-'02) and the 506 ('03-05^). I mean, it starts off sounding like a rumbling L48 and keeps kind like that but anywhere above 2500 it starts sounding like my neighbor's Mustang V6 with a Honda Civic-type cat-back exhaust equipped.

best sounding car is the mugen nsx, and the ford lmt-edi. something....i forget the name

If English is your first language (and in Ohio, I suspect it ought to be), could you please make an effort to use it. Your post in the Shigeno and Evo thread was close to indecipherable. We have a selection of punctuation marks provided to help break up posts into sensible segments, rather than stutters. Thank you.

2 reasons!

1) There's no such thing as an Alfa Romero (sic)
2) The Alfa-Romeo 155 isn't present in GT3. It was available as the BTCC version in GT2.

You're thinking of the Alfa-Romeo 156 in GT3.

Sorry for being such a sarcastic and pendantic 🤬

I'm only teasing!!!

sorry for bringing up old trash... as said it wasn't the BTCC version.... but that's not my point... the 155 Touring wasn't the only 155 in GT2... there were also a stock 155 to buy... Race-modify it and you have yourself a cheap touring car with a crappy engine and disturbing FWD... :D

best sound: 787 really is nice to rev up to the rev-stop... :D Top Tuned Skyline is good too...

GT40. Nice horses... Very nice.
