Bikes in future gt games...

Maybe i'm the only one, but if future gran turismo games had superbikes in them....... MOST FUN EVER. What do you think?

Won't happen. I think someone's doing a GT style game for bikes.

I'm not fussed either way - not so much because I'm not really into bikes, but because you can't duplicate riding a bike the way you can with a car.

Wouldn't work anyway.....

If it was truly accurate to the "real world" bikes would beast the cars on acceleration and the cars would just screw 'em in the corners.

Wouldn't make for a very intresting time.

But still not a bad idea. Just wouldn't work.

I think that would be cool...be able to by the Bikes and have races for them. Then there could be maybe 1 or 2 races where the cars and bikes can race.

I was just wondering did you see that Jeremy Clarkson vid as well Head to Head
The one where he put a R1 (the cream of road going motorbikes ) up against the (not so cream of road going cars) the orsche:Carrera4 i think it was

It was good to see the car wipping the bike because a few of my mates are into bikes and never shut up about them

But after seeing this they don't have much to say these days

As Jeremy would say ALL BIKERS EVERYWHERE CAN JUST SHUT UP

Yea I think I've seen that... There's no question that a Bikes performance is great and if it's pure acceleration your after then it's a great buy?..:burnout:

However unless you like your leg almost scraping across the tarmac :curvyrd: they are very difficult to handle

If you want bikes, go play that crappy Midnight Club game, GT has always been a hardcored car game ( and I say that meaning that they never intended it to be anything different) so screw bikes, or at least in GT.............some people

Doesn't the words Gran Turismo refer to only cars and not bikes. Anyway if you want a GT with motobikes I think there is a game that is like GT but features motobikes , isn't it called Spirit of Speed of something?

It's called Riding Spirits.
It's a Gran Turismo style game, but it's for the bike enthusiasts.

cars and bikes = bikes and bikers laying on the ground, the only way to beat bikes wold be to take them out, if i had to that, i wouldnt even play GT4 because im not the type to cheat like that, if i had to win that way i wouldnt ever play the game again, just my opinion.

Probably no motorcycles in future Gran Turismo games. But what about other types of cars. In GT3 they added F1 cars. In GT4 they're adding Sports Racer Prototype(open cockpit LeMans-style) cars. What's next. Maybe Can-Am cars:

GT will always be looking for new and/or different types of cars to add but never bikes, if PD included bikes it would put me off GT.

Maybe its just me, but I'd rather not see a bike in GT. I think it would draw away from the beauty of a car racing sim.

I think it is conceivable that they would have kart racing in a Gran Turismo game. Several famous race drivers started in kart racing. Michael Schumacher:

maybe as a seperate game with manufactores from around the world it could include new and classic bikes. as well as upto date moto gp race bikes to the classic 500cc race bikes from the 70s and 80s. there is a game like it riding spirits but its crap so some else will have to try and do better.
