I doubt refreshing your chassis will make the car go faster again. Its the engine that makes cars go fast (or slow), chassis and suspension is just for trying to keep the car on the road. :)

or one heck of a lot of b-spec (150 mile super speedway)

I was thinking about creating a new thread about the max number of miles anyone as put on a car / raced in total, I ain't gonna bother now (300,000 miles !!!!) god damn

Stevan20, what happens if you buy another one ?

I'm sure you have enough money to buy another one. . . Unless you really love your viper that much, since you've been lapping the test course for some long time already. Just give the viper a break, I don't think it's V8, V10 or V12 ?(sorry, just woke up) is expected to last that long. I've had something similar once, I do not remember exactly which car it was, but on the Sarthe with the long straight line; after the mulsanne my car once didn't want to go over 150kmh, it usually would go way over 250 on the next part though..

I've just got myself off the floor!

This HAS to be one of the most amusing posts in GTPLANET's history. 300,000 miles, and the guy's wondering why there's a problem!

Maths was never my strong point, however, I simply can't see how that can be achieved at this stage, let alone in one car, but an unadulterated PICTURE of it would satisfy the curiosity cats for certain.

I'd suggest you a) learn to use the EDIT button on the forum b) try ANOTHER car, or c) if you're so zoned into the Viper, get another one.

Hilarious!

Yeah mine did that at 44324327656 miles. I must be a more careful driver. I sold it for -28345 credits (I had to pay GT4 to tow it from my garage). :dopey:

Replaced it with an '04 Pink Elephant Special, fed exclusively on chips. That thing really flies. 👍

BTW Stevan20 I also managed to import all my modded cars from Need For Speed Underground 2, complete with custom gauges. The neon looks really cool in the GT4 night races, but the pearlescent paint jobs don't translate so well. :sly:

I also have some excellent stock market tips if you are interested.

well how many miles can u get out of a normal race car with regular oil changes?

Stevan20, if you're still alive, watch the REAL gone in sixty seconds from 1974 and , I'm sure you'll replace right away this very bad avatar (and movie too!).

We're all waiting for a pic of your 300,000 miles (or is that just a joke?).

I can see him now, rolling on the floor, laughing his butt clean off, as he reads each post on this thread...

Well, since damage isn't coded into the game, an engine malfunction is not possible to achieve. No matter if you run the car for an infinite amount of miles in first gear. Since; as we know, damage is not part of the programming. Mystery solved. A hoax.

It's sad to see people who had a tendency to lie on the internet...
or maybe he just needs some attention!

Well he's got it. 300,000 miles. Lets see you do 300,000 miles in the Midget. Anyway, that's absolute rubbish, and don't trust any photos, it'd be SO easy to edit a pic of the odometer. Especially to change a 0 to a three.

It's a glitch or he's putting it on I think. :)
