i don't know how to do the copy and paste thing to show the picture but i just used the EVO X tune to smash the Ascari seasonal !!! I had the power setting slightly different but your suspension setting are amazing. I use a DFGT and its sturdy yet zippy and grippy but doesn't feel glued to the ground which i think is what Evos need. Anyway thought I'd give some thanks/feedback. P.s best i could manage with a stock LFA nurb was 2.16 *** at best, the evo was running 2.12 *** BAM!!!!

I tried it, have been spending alot of time there when not FITT testing trying to fix my "04 Z06 (think I'm close), just ran a 1:09.676. Have others in that range but not many much faster. Thanks for reminding me, I now have another 350k thanks to you.:D

Since I have been tagged on this tune and a challenge was launched (:P) I decided to spare a few moments during week to do a little test... So I decided to drive it like a maniac and the result was quite unexpected... :D

Without knowing the car behavior, a "drive like it you stole it" test was mandatory... And it passed quite nicely!

The tune handled everything I threw at it and still wanted more. Superior balance and handling, combined with a suspension on the spot to handle the fast/tight cornering of Ascari... The gearbox is flawless, like usual, keeping the car reving... No understeer in mid-corner/exiting acceleration and almost none oversteer.

The speed/top speed is incredible, the 7th gear was never used, but I believe on faster tracks it smokes the competition. And the extreme diet sure is present...

But two things failed to match the performance of this ride:
  • Brakes - for me, while driving to the limit, was kind of "weak", failing me in 1 or 2 situations... (Sorry Mr.B! :()
  • Tires - the tyres were the main issue. Despite being SS, they were no match to the car. I found out on the 1st test session that, has they turned red and started to make the car slide under heavy braking and fast cornering...
Overall, now I know why @Bowtie-muscle says it's his favourite tune and I agree... It is indeed super easy to drive, fast and very stable... With a better engine sound (PD! :D) it would almost be like watching IRL...

@Bowtie-muscle - Many thanks for the challenge, outstanding tune and a nice little GT6 session on working day... 👍 Also on the weekend will do some more sessions...

PS: BTW, I chose the Gray Metallic!! :sly: :lol:

Or it could simply be that he is just much faster in my tunes than I am...........so embarrassing. I build them, he goes faster. Sometimes a good thing, sometimes it questions my ability(not really:lol:). Either way, I always appreciate his honest, yet gentle feedback.👍
