You are spending a lot of time on this forum don't you? And I know you are just "advising" them but let them be.....

I just think it's a bit sad that people spend their time talking about GT4 over and over again. People keep asking the same stupid questions, like how many cars or tracks will be in the game.
All those questions will be answered in due course. If people keep spending time on here, they will only get their hopes up about GT4 and what it might be, and then when it's released, it will be a disappointment to them because it won't be what they have hyped it up to be.

The thing is, I don't spend much time on here. I've only been on here over the last couple of days because of the steady stream of E3 pics, and video clips.

this wasn't meant as a direct attack at you, but if people enjoy using their "talents" creating box art it's great isn't it. It's better than playing games, this is a sort of creativity they enjoy making.

Well to some it may look sad, others see it as an information source. Just as you did. Everyone has different hobbies and let everyone be what they wanna be.

There's no question that there is some excellent examples of art on here. But for a game that's not even been released yet it's IMO a bit sad to be talking about it as much as some people do.

No, what's more sad is the large number of childish comments that get posted on this site.

I am just making a point about something. You don't have to agree with me, and I don't care if you do or not. It's always hard for people to be objective about something that they care about.

True as that may be, you are still here so you can´t be entirely objective. And of course you can have your own opinion but why do you feel the need to share it?
 
thanx for the feedback....:) .....and as for you J8mie, just cos i come into a forum once in a while about a game i'm interested in and post a reply here and there doesnt mean i dont have a life.

What do you think this forum is exsactly......i seem to see the word 'Gran Turismo' around it quite alot!.....hmmm, i wonder why people would come to tlk about it here!!!

I can be more objective than most, as I am a newer member wiht only a few posts. Well this is a place to talk about this game, so my opinion is as valid as anyone elses. Zee asked for opinons, so I voiced one. Just because someone has a different opinion on a subject, doesn't make it any less valid.

I think you've seen my comments and taken them as a personal attack, which they are not meant to be. I just find it a little odd what people talk about on here that's all.

Trust me, I've been there. I played Street Fighter 2 and SWOS for months on end, and I look back and just think what a waste. I should have been out there chasing after some fine bit of totty and not playing computer games in my spare time.

Well uh, wasn't his post an attack at everybody in this thread?

Personally I don't really see the point of designing DVD box covers for a game thats going to be released, eventually, but its nice to see peoples artwork. I think its more childish going into such a thread & making a broad generalisation saying there all sad & need to get a life...

A more adult way of stating your opinion, is a polite question to why their doing it or to simply ignore it. :rolleyes:

I don't expect you to understand, but I am talking from expericence. People always find it hard to take on anothers view, and it seems like my orginal point has been lost.

i did not take you opinion as an attack at me......it just so happens that you posted it after me.....By all means have an opinion...but i feel that is was a bit harsh to all the people who had bothered to create the various art work on this thread to say that is was a sad thing to take part in......besides i believe that there is no harm in seein peoples art work (as T5-R said), its just something fun to do and creative. I feel that i speak for most of the people on this thread when i say that this is a Gran Turismo forum.....and Gran Turismo is what is going to be talked about whatever happens!

All i can say is bring on the box art!!!!:D

I like what u done RobFire, but I feel the logo shouldn't be pushed up so far to the right, in my opinion, otherwise the back anf front look great.

If I placed the logo in the middle, you didn't saw the light of the Prowler so good, so I didn't had a choice :D but the next one will be with a Ford GT40 so maybe I will place the logo in the middle then ;)
 
oh and robfire, i think your front cover is great apart from the lack of "a single colorness" to the car. if it was just red, blue, etc then it would fit the GT mould perfect

hmm seems a bit strange this request..

Since IMHO the primarary colors are RED, BLUE and YELLOW, the car was yellow, and you don't want red or blue......

So what do you want :lol:
