Then what is it that makes me stand out, smart guy?
I swear, I'm always getting killed. I'm like a black guy in an 80's military movie. For example, during our GTP game today. I was behind Legendary and an enemy popped in the front of both of us. I got killed, and Legendary didn't.
Another example, when I'm standing still hiding behind an object, just waiting for a enemy, I always get killed from the side, or a guy at long distance I never spotted shoots me dead. I never move! So how can he spot me? When I look at windows in tall buildings, I never spot the enemy who usually snipes me.
What is it about me that stand out? Can I change my uniform color or camo pattern? I have yet to play as a sniper an actually get a kill with my sniping rifle. I wait, and wait, and wait and not one kill. Then, I get killed.
So, you guys saw me play. What is it about me that always gets me killed?
That Legendary thing, it was probably him lagging so bad, he probably just looked like he was there.
On not getting hit, I don't think you can ever be completely safe, if you stay in one certain spot. While I couldn't tell you what you are doing wrong, I can tell you what I do to stay hidden. First of all, you have to learn the maps. Once you get the maps down, you become aware of the possible enemy positions, and their line of sight, where they look for possible targets. If their team happen to have top-notch snipers, or like last night, I'm so tired I'm barely holding the controller, I'll just hang out in back of the map, take what they give me. My score will be low, but the point of team deathmatches is not so much the amount of kills you get, it's the kill-to-death ratio.
Secondly, you should constantly be aware of your surroundings. You have to look everywhere for movement, which means that your analog sticks should almost never stay still. And also, I try to listen for the foot steps. Especially in free-for-all type matches, your hearing becomes a pretty important part of your arsenal.
I probably had more advice, but I forget.
There's so much cheating going on, I'm done. I just got done playing a game with 5 guys. The highest rank was 37. I'm 27. The other team, nobody was under 47.
They had two harriers, two helicopters, one ac130 and a predator up most of the entire game. I got killed 17 times in a row, without being able to take more than three steps. I respawned from the EXACT location, along with EVERYBODY ELSE ON MY TEAM, until the game was over.
If that wasn't bad enough, these guys moved so damn fast, it was hard to shoot them if you did spot them. I never heard a single one of them walk up behind me.

It usually is not how the game is, but it can be. All you can do is back out. When the game becomes impossible, I personally see no sense in staying in the game. You are not helping the team, you are just there for the other team's amusement, set up by the match making system. Pork chop sandwiches, get the hell out. That's what I do.

, and I'm happy. Maybe throw a little Stopping Power Pro and I'm really happy. I don't need anything else. I don't even like any of the scopes on my guns. All I use with them is the FMJ, everything else just gets in the way.
