I am watching the Thunder game right now, but I would be up for some games.
 
So, the game has been fixed finally?!

Also, I'm up for any games tonight. I'm getting online right now. As Time_Attack said, 10pm EST sound good? That's in about an hour.

Yes, I'm down. My PS3 is "rebuilding database," so it'll be a couple of minutes.

At least we won many, if not all.

We struggled against that team with the loud-mouthed idiot early on, but that was without Wiener & Azuremen, two best players of our crew. We did alright.
 
Should we have a weekly GTP MW2 night or will you guys actually start playing this game more often?

Guess who finally got MW2 :p

Decided to pick up an FPS and was originally going for the first Modern Warfare game since the singleplayer on it looked better. But I wasn't too sure how many players still played it online because of Modern Warfare 2 so I picked that one up instead. Didn't like Black Ops from the looks of it. Either WWII or present, but I'm not really in for all those '50s-'60s era shooters.

Got it for PC, though. All of you probably play it in the PS3, but when I get an FPS it has to be on the PC for me.

Anyway, going for the campaign first to get a feel for the game before I decide on getting slaughtered online :lol:

I don't think I'll go back to it often, maybe just once a week. This game single-handedly destroyed 2 of my controllers. I gotta keep my new one in solid working order. Plus, I don't know if/when I'm picking up Mortal Kombat, Tiger Woods, MLB, and PS Move...so I could have a lot of new stuff to take up my time.
 
I'm willing to come back to MW2 for a few games since some of you are to stubborn to buy black ops. I probably won't stick around though if I don't have anyone to play with here either.
 
Once a week, or even every other week would be kind of cool. During the week, I actually prefer CoD4, but MW2 is the one that most of us can compromise to play on. Actually, it's been fun the last couple of times we played it. One of my buddies also just got PS3, and along with the Black Ops, he got MW2 as well(Sgt Sasquash from last night), so I might start playing MW2 a little more now.

Single player on CoD4 is one of the best I have ever played, if not the best.
 
You should borrow his black ops while he's ranking up MW2.

I think a good excuse is it isn't worth playing 💡 Black Ops is backwards in so many ways.

I'd probably be down for some weekly game night or something.

Aside from worse graphics, lower frame rates, worse hit detection, probably the worst spawn system I've ever seen, pointless hand guns, tedious proing of perks, and the RC car thing.
 
All I know is that I still get invites on Black Ops(lastest just couple minutes ago), and I hate it. :crazy:

Most people on my friends list no longer play Black Ops, but I think that had to do a lot with the release of GT5. If I still had my X360, it might have been different. Two people I know from XBL though(one of 'em's Sgt Sasquash again), they actually play MW2 more now, I think. Probably because of me. :p

I just started typing, "if anybody wanted to play tonight......". I was sick today and slept during late afternoon. I thought it was 7PM or something right about now. Nevermind. I'll be up for while though. :lol:

My phone/computer still shows 4am here. Must be slow on the change.
 
The graphics sure you could say they aren't as good as MW2. I think thats more of an opinion though as I don't think the graphic style is that bad. Its certainly better than COD4 was and people still love that game.
 
As smooth as this game runs on my laptop, which I was very positively surprised with, it has that cheap graphic look to it. Sure, everything looks pretty and flashy. But the graphics themselves look rather plasticy and cheap compared to the graphics in Crysis. When I play Crysis I feel like I'm in a much more solid surrounding which has been worked on far more than CoD's.

It's massive fun, though. Currently level 13 and having a blast in the multiplayer. The TDM mode games seem to end very quickly, and I can't seem to manage to get a high score. My best personal score today was 19-7 at Afghan. A map I adore more than any other map I've currently played.

I do kind of miss the sniper shooting from the first CoD multiplayer map, like the sniper heaven the Foy map was, but I can play Afghan, Skidrow and Scrapyard all day long.

The only thing I've had issues with is the bigger TDM mode, with up to 18 players. Players seem to spawn helicopters and harriers all the time. More than once have I found myself dying a few times in a row because I spawned and couldn't find a hiding spot in time.
