God I hate heartbeat sensors. People camp in a dark corner with Ninja and Cold Blooded, and keep looking at their HBS until they see a red blip... really now. That's ridiculously noob-tastic.

What I find amusing is probably 90% of the people I run into who use the HBS are absolute garbage. I'll mumble to myself about morons who need to rely on it for kills, then look at the score screen and the guy is usually below 1 KDR. One or 2 isn't hard to deal with, but if there's 3 or more in a match I make sure to use my class with Ninja.

I agree, I've seen people with them on Barretts and the Intervention, what?

I have a good story with those though. We were playing on Wasteland and I had a spot where I would snipe and it always worked for 5 or 6 kills. So once I got this kid three times while he kept trying to get me. I moved everytime and I was lying in a bush next to a wall and then I get shot in the back. Well I watch the killcam and he had the sensor and I could see my red dot, but he couldn't find me so he just sat there for a minute until I moved then ran up behind me and shot me, n00b. All that combined added up to me selling it

We played demolition earlier on and it was on at invasion.
We secured both targets within 3-4 minutes and the next round we won without the other team getting the bomb once. Game wad finished within 6-7 minutes.
The a**hole on the other team in the pre game lobby starting complaining to our team why we finished the game so quickly as we could have got 100 deaths by extending the game.
I tried to explain to this joker that If he was after kills then he should play another game mode whch he failed to understand.
He told me to **** off back to my country even though my psn name gives a hint that I am from the same country as him. What an idiot and I just couldn't get it into his brain what the purpose of demolition is and when I asked how old he was I was shocked to learn how our 23 year olds are nowadays..
Looks like Jack Stanley had enough and left the lobby so apologies there mate as my language had to drop down to a level for this guy to understand.
I've taken my frustation out on the punch bag now.

I'm thinking of going out to buy one today, because using the mic on my PS Eye is not only irritating for me but also others on my team since you hear my TV as well and people talking in the background if theres people over.... Ah, now I can see merit here. When you're sniping, you can't necessarily pay attention to what's nearby. Claymores are good, but a SitRep user can waltz through them. The heartbeat sensor emits an audible "pl-ping" (very much like the one in Aliens) so even if you're scoped up and staring down an alleyway, you can hear enemies close to you - and since you can't have both SitRep and Ninja, you can detect everyone.

Wouldn't use it myself - I'd want a silencer as well and I'm not willing to swap out Scavenger for Bling.

Understandable, more so because you can continue to resupply your Claymores. I do use the Heartbeat Sensor on occasion paired with a Silencer on the M21 EBR in Hardcore. The 30 rounds for the M21 plus the 6 total clips for Akimbo Silenced USP's usually will out last my life span. But I do find it is a bit easy to fall into a false sense of security with it and those useful pings. 4 of my 7 classes use Ninja Pro when I am in Hardcore, including my high speed runner, which can bypass most Claymores thanks to pure speed.

And my training myself to use every weapon has reduced my need for Scavenger a bit. Though it is quite handy with Semtex in Domination games

One game on Rundown I reached 6-0-0 with only the first being a bullet - the other five were all Claymore kills on the same person in the same place. Scavenger rules

Edit: Also, I've now managed the Perfectionist challenge (put an entire sniper rifle clip into the enemy without missing) twice - once on 1st Prestige. I was stunned the first time it came up - I didn't even know it was a challenge!

I love the shield so much, I have a class just for it at Terminal. Last game I played there I went 15-0-4.

Class is:
Shield/SPAS-12; Blast Shield/Flash; Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro, Commando Pro (the range on this is devastating); Martyrdom

I've been stuck with Semtex many times, but with Marathon and Lightweight I can close the gap before they've got their weapon back and they go with me. Often with a teammate or two for a bonus

Tried this set-up last night, not got all the perks on Pro yet but it still worked pretty well. Only played it once, on scrap yard, but it was good fun especially in the confined spaces of a fuselage, they just didn't stand a chance! You really have to keep moving with this set-up, otherwise you're a sitting duck from behind. Hearing the opposing team all moan about 'that guy with the shield' after the game is priceless.

That would be cool. Just need to unlock some more challenges on demolition and then we can plant the bomb in Free for All or Team deathmatch.
Those kind of chavs do get to me sometimes and i am one guy who will put them straight no matter what.

Tried this set-up last night, not got all the perks on Pro yet but it still worked pretty well. Only played it once, on scrap yard, but it was good fun especially in the confined spaces of a fuselage, they just didn't stand a chance! You really have to keep moving with this set-up, otherwise you're a sitting duck from behind. Hearing the opposing team all moan about 'that guy with the shield' after the game is priceless.

Best part is that even if you have a crap game, it's a laugh. A riot, even Every kill is funny.

I think you know where the door is, that was terrible

50k exp off prestige; I'm thinking of staying at level 70 for an extra day or two once I open up Prestige so I can have more fun with the Models before they get patched again, and try out the AK. Is the AK decent, or am I wasting my time?

If you can handle how the TAR21 or FN2000 feel, you'll be able to work the AK. It isn't very precise though

Haha. And to think I have some 1800 kills on the SCAR, and over 1000 on the M4, FAMAS, FAL... and those are just since my First Prestige. I know had over 1000 on the FAL before my Prestige as well, and near that on the M4A1. Hell, I have over 800 on my USP's

The SCAR is very accurate, the M16 is decently. The AK will jump around in full auto.

And am I the only person here who can't get into the Single Player Campaign? It just drives me crazy, seemingly endless waves of whatever happens to be your enemy. It is just excessive and it irritates me - "Your five man team will make its way through at least 200 militia members, half of which seem to have RPG's." The ambushes aren't really ambushes because it feels like you can just assume there will be enemies at every turn. The only mission I've liked thus far is the snowy air base infiltration, and then only the first half... lost a lot of its touch with the snow mobile chase (Apparently have dozens of snow mobiles ready to go is the norm...)

I got disillusioned with it before i even got halfway through (oil rig level i think). I didn't bother playing through it on the easier levels, like i did with CoD4, because i wanted a bit of a challenge. Trouble is when you play on a harder setting, the AI enemy aren't any better, there's just a lot more of them. You end up dying 60 times just to finish a level, it's just a slog getting from one checkpoint to the next. It's like being a contestant on Takeshi's Castle, you get bombarded from all directions and the rest of your squad seem to be firing nothing but blanks.

Third Prestige, level 62. I noticed that some Prestige challenges do reset if you max them out, such as Stealth. I had the 1000 kills for it but it reset when I did my third Prestige and I am back up there again, just find it interesting you can earn the EXP again, though it seems reduced.

I've fiddled with some of the Spec Ops stuff, but the Multi-player is what I am about. Thus the 388% completion so far

So which headsets do you recommend?

I got Turtle Beach X1's about a week ago and they are great, not expensive either. They are 5.1 surround sound so you can pin point where people are just by foot step, which I use to my advantage every game. If you have them turned up loud you can even hear people with ninja pro on if your paying attention:tup:

I did this the other day without knowing it was a challenge also, now my call sign is the perfectionist one with a knife emblem for getting the game winning cam with a throwing knife

Oh, breakpoint, on SitRep Pro and footsteps. I've read it reduces the sound of friendly footsteps to a fourth and makes enemy ones four times louder.

Also, just went 11 and 4 on Favela in HC TDM using a Riot Shield and a TMP.

LOL yea getting killed by a riot shield is very funny. But later on I just sticked a semtex on there. Also funny.

I've been thinking about getting a new game recently. Can you guys please tell me why I should/should not buy this game? I've been watching some vids on youtube and I'm mixed on it. I see a lot of camping and I hear there are a lot of glitchers. The game itself doesn't look too bad I'm just not sure if its worth it.
