I thought you already lost the streak. Me, PJ & Azuremen last night, first game, we lost. It was kinda close, but we lost.

I haven't played since that night. I played W@W the other day but that was it for COD.
Do me a favor, wait until we get a crew. Forza might be a long shot, but we have to get Azure or Rabia, preferably both. Vash, too. Streak is alive!

We should play some CoD4. I miss CoD4.

I'm terrible at COD4. I never even reached level 55 non prestige. I think I have maybe one day of total play time in it.

I guess we could play it though if you really wanted. I have the map pack for that to even though the maps sucked. I say you should go buy W@W. That was the game where I learned how to really play COD on.

I have World at War. For X360.

We don't have to play CoD4, I just felt like it. I don't think you'll suck at the game once you get used to it. It is much easier to play than MW2. Much, much simpler game. More straightforward. Maps are epic, but I don't like the map pack maps. I had it for the X360, but I took it off!

I just got my first multi-kill(5) with a predator. That felt good especially since we were losing pretty badly. It's hard to have 5 people in the same spot. It was nice seeing them try to run away. Now if only this happened with every predator instead of the usual 0 or 1.

Five's awesome. 👍

I could swear the Predator's slower, we all know it's less accurate.

I think I got four before(could've been five), when the other team crowded around a parked car. I dropped it right on the car.

Edit: I fooled around with M21 tonight. Did really well, even forced the other team to runaway when I went 3-0 in the beginning of a match, it couldn't migrate host the very first game with the gun. Just until Wasteland of all maps. I started out dropping everybody, then their spawns started crowding my area, I started going into death streaks. I might keep the sniper class around for awhile.

YESS!!!!! YESS!!!! Just got my first Nuke!!!!

I was having a bunch of awesome games with Predator-Harrier-Pavelow, and so I decided to put on Nuke and see what happens. So, I do, and now we're on Rundown. Get 1 kill, then die. Then I decide to camp out in that spot next to the 3rd bridge to go across, upstairs. Got a few kills there, but after a while no one was going there anymore, so I cross over to the other side. Then I get my Harriers, and sit in a safe spot and let them do the killing, then I get my CG, and now I know I might be getting somewhere. Total ownage with the CG ,and then I get to 25 :D. My shouting in happiness woke up the entire house, but who cares, I got a nuke!!!!

I got a new killstreak PB :D 13 in a TDM on Strike, with a 3-5-7 setup. My harriers got *one* kill. :|

I liked the three frags. Frag grenades are nearly a lost art in MW2. I played MW2 from late night to all early morning, trying to get the nuke. Didn't come close. Couldn't play domination, as match making was going out of way to put me in a team that was, or were going to just get driven over. This went on for hours. Went back to TDM, it was about the same. I was able to hold my own, but it's rough when you are trying to put together a streak.

So I went for a nuke last night. Best I could do I think was 19? But the thing was, my harriers were shot down just about immediately, or fly around and get 1, once in awhile, 2. Pave Lows, the same. It was very frustrating.

I don't like anything that allows you to spam the crap out of it and I can't stop it. I've only just started to use semtex again. I doubt I've used a frag since last prestige.

I'm using C4 only to unlock titles and emblems. I've got a few more to go. I use it as a grenade. Toss it at a group of guys, pull the trigger. It's a lot better than put it at a flag and waiting to set it off.

After while, you get pretty good at avoiding the frags. Most of the time, it took skill(to get me with it, anyway), I never had any issues with the frag grenades.

Wetwork(the boat), frags became a big part of the match.
Edit:
A6 playing something else other than TD?
Didn't last very long.

You can't avoid them when people are chucking them all over buildings every time they spawn. It wasn't so bad in W@W because the grenade indicator would fade out the farther the grenade. Not the case in MW1/2

With wetwork I'd just spawn trap them from the middle with a sniper rifle.

on wetwork, sniping is fun. They come from both sides and I could get them in the middle sometimes.

As with even MW2, sometimes, certain weapons can become unavoidable. Doesn't happen everyday, but that's unavoidable. :p

Once you get the hang of when & where, I definitely got around them fine. But there were some super frag pitchers that would get you once in awhile. ...................unavoidable.

A decent session for the EU side of GTP tonight, infact I don't think we were even pushed in any match let alone defeated. From a personal perspective I was putting on a good performance as I keep getting back into the correct mindset, the L86 keeps on delivering for me and I also tried using the Thermal scope for the first time for sniping (only ever picked up before as I thought it was a bit noobish). Turns out it's so much easier as expected perhaps to easy for my liking especially on maps like Wasteland but other snipers using it always used to own me so I guess I had my revenge on other people .

@pj/Peter

I believe you asked if someone could teach you to quick scope yes? I did send you a quick message but I'll post it here as well that you will have to learn to walk before you can run. Practice sniping, quite alot but don't feel you need to ALWAYS snipe, until you eventually feel confident with your normal sniping aim to the point you can hit most shots and you will naturally get quicker at aiming and shooting accurately.

The better you get the more aggressive you can be with a sniper rifle, I personally don't run around like a lunatic going for 360 no scopes I just use quick scoping as another way of using the rifle rather then the only way. I still use my secondary in close combat but at close-mid range I will pop up from cover and take a quick scope as I have the ability to do so now. It'll take time but you'll get there in the end.

I don't think I've used thermal scopes since the pre-prestige, first go around. Since I started playing around with the M21, I might try to get thermal for it. It is noob-ish, and as a noob-sniper, that can only mean a good thing, right? :D

On our [GTP] Clans, I wonder why it's so easy these days. It sure wasn't in Call of Duty 4. Individually, we have become much better players. We must also have pool of pretty good players. I mean, can you imagine assembling a team with the very best players from this thread if connection/lag wasn't an issue? I might not even make a cut, and this team with a full crew might be impossible to beat unless you bring out a semi-pro clan or something!

I know I've told you how I love the M21 and how I have more than one M21 class. Right now I've got one with ACOG and one with thermal. Both with fall camo :).

I don't like the thermal on most guns with on the M21 it really works great. 👍

Yeah, M21's the only sniper I can use, as unlike in CoD4, one shot/one kill is not an automatic in this game. M21 give you a second chance, third chance and more, if you need it. And I need it.

I did briefly have the thermal on it, pre-prestige. I hope the challenges aren't too painstaking to get it!

It's true, both GTP teams seem to consistently beat down in pub games and the EU side doesn't even communicate that much though we end up working together quite well as you know your friends are around you so you are of course going to help each other. There is definately alot of individual skill going around and I think it helps that there's also alot of different play styles going around which create a good team chemistry with a mix of aggressive, defensive and everything in between players.

I don't want to blow my own trumpet but I know I'm a fairly decent player, but when I play alone I feel like I drag(onistic) teams with me whereas playing with the GTP crew I feel like I just make the enemies defeat even worse and that in reality I probably don't need to be there at all seeing as I'm not one of the regulars.

The combination of players with different styles, that's something we noticed as well. In that 50 win run(42 for the night), we generally had three who pushed, three who played more conservatively. We didn't communicate at all, in-game, but we coordinated our kill streak rewards for the first time. We weren't proper clan or anything, and while we were the better players we have in this thread, this group was just made up of what we got in the U.S.!

Also true about playing on random teams vs. playing on the [GTP]. No pressure, as if you, or the other guy doesn't perform up to par, there will be like two others who will just rise to the occasion, seemingly effortlessly. It does have that "All-Star" team feel. I just wish we could do it more often. :D
