I remember discussing with you how my accuracy went down as my KDR went up, alot of it is in the weapon and play style. For example SMG rush tactics get low accuracy whereas a long serving sniper should of course have a much better % even though neither may be worse at doing their job.

Anywhere from 17-8% upwards shows someone doesn't have an bad shot overall.

The highest I have gotten my accuracy is 17.70%. It has steadily decreased the last few months to around 17.54%. I think a lot of it has to do with the continued use of the L86.

I will have to try get the EU GTP crew to try HC and see how we get on seeing as we more often then not win normal TDM games by considerable margins. It'll be nice to get something fresh out of the game for me as well.

funny you say that i tried HCTDM yesterday when none of you guys were on.
Played 1 game and didnt bother again.
we will give it a try when the whole crew is about.

My accruracy is 17.01% right now. It was higher last week but it has dropped sleightly. I don't think mine will improve much, but my K/D ratio has always been climbing steadily (Currently 1.12).

Aside from VEXD, I have the highest accuracy of anyone on my PSN friends list (I think Azuremen is the same, give-or-take) - primarily because I largely snipe. I have very little trouble hitting a static target in a very short time and moving targets are not much more tricky. Yet the second I play someone from "the colonies" (distance breeds lag) or BeNeLux (their connections are 1ms ping, mine is 55ms) I even miss static targets. In softcore where nothing but a headshot is a 1-hit kill, I'd suck like a Dyson in a black hole.

If I recall, you are a bit higher than me. Though I've certainly shot a lot more bullets than you.

I think the absolutely highest on my list is Eric's friend, at over 30% I want to say.

Too much time on the PC lately, I fear, has ruined me for console FPS. I'll give it a try this Friday perhaps, depending on who is online and if I go out for the weekend (Halloween in a college town and all).

Didn't expect Wings to look like that  On a related note, I can't believe all the hate Wings has been getting in the comments

Didn't expect Wings to look like that

He's shown his face a while ago, I think more than once. That shot was taken from his review of the Viking 360 Controller. Right at the end he flipped the camera upside down to show his face when he did his out-tro.

I had some great games tonight. I wish I could have recorded them. Flawless 20-0 TDM on scrapyard doesn't happen every day. I might just buy a capture card. I've been thinking about it for months now but I can't afford an HD-PVR right now. I was looking into a Dazzle but I'm not impressed with the quality. The price is good though. Thoughts?

Good games tonight with the US crowd (and EU crowd earlier for that matter but it's same old every night there ) the latency wasn't bothering me to much as reflected in solid score for me and when I was present a game wasn't lost. Apparently you had trouble in the games I got kicked from though which is a shame but you can't win em all right?

I liked on Terminal where Rabia went into their spawn in the dying seconds with the shield and I used him as a distraction to do a jumping drop-spray against a painkiller at short range for the game winning kill .

Terminal was quite fun, as it was my best scoring game. Two guys, one mainly, kept trying to get revenge kills. I mostly wipe the floor when people look to revenge kill.

Ahh revenge kill mentality, the source of many a killstreak for me .

I think my only problem tonight was to many times in the early rounds I took on heads up fights which I would usually win but playing overseas generally means I get killed in a straight up gun fight. Once I toned myself into the teams playstyle and found a role I did more then fine. I remember seeing the radar on Skidrow and just feeling bad for the enemy team, you guys had so many crossfires going on I have never felt so safe calling in packages.

That was something. We were able to fill up the six-man roster with all GTP'ers, and it sort of just happened. I think I was in a TDM by myself, or so I thought. I see VEXD & TheCracker was in the game, so as we regrouped, Vash joined us, then Drag + Rabia, who are couple of best CoD players on GTP. 👍

Considering the lags, personally had 1~2 bars in many matches, we all did pretty good. I'm usually the first one to bail, when lag gets to be too much, but playing with the British crew was too big of an opportunity to pass up. Thanks so much for the great games guys! :)👍

P.S. Vash, when I was typing up about the "crack", I was trying to say that I was "trying to get cracker". But the message title letter limit thing cut it short, which made it "trying to get crack". Don't you worry, I'm not a crack head.

Oh, I know, but I thought it was too good of an opportunity to pass up to make the comment.
I was laughing my ass off, because when the letter limit shortened it, I hadn't realized what the message had actually said. Not until you sent me that "don't do crack" message.

Sorry about leaving you guys unexpectedly. I was doing horrible and my sister was bitching to me about how it's her turn to get on the TV and just wouldn't stop. Sorta ragequitted. 👎

I was wondering what happened to you! We won though, all good. 👍

Yeah, had some good games last night. Cheers guys 👍 As i've said before, it makes such when you play with guys who'll play as a team and try to control an area instead of acting like John Rambo.

The lag wasn't such an issue, at least not all the time. From the look at the bars situation, some games us Euros looked to be hosting and others it looked to be the North American crew. I think across a handful of games i managed a full set of single to four bar experiences. It was only in a couple of games where the lag became almost unplayable.

I don't remember us loosing a single match either. It was only in the very last match before i bailed where the opposing side could get their stuff together enough to run us close to the win.

I remember seeing the radar on Skidrow and just feeling bad for the enemy team, you guys had so many crossfires going on I have never felt so safe calling in packages.

That match was a little too one sided i think. We held down that whole back lot area for much of the match, they couldn't even show their faces for a second without having them shot off.

Tumbleweed.............

I sold my Black Ops for £30.

It was pants.

IMO

I can say that in here though, right?

I've playing CoD4, and this is so true on "Bog". The small map with a big mound in the middle facing the bus?

I remember so many great games I've had that on map. It was one of my favorites. But since coming back, there's been a lot of noobs, and of corse, the game does that thing whey they round up the all chevron stripes onto a team, and prestiges in the other? It's been a nightmare on that map. You get overran, overran again, and again. :ouch: It's so bad I had to pretty much put away my M16, and switch to full-auto like a M4!

Sorry to hear that man. I came damn close to getting it, but I just get too excited(:p) playing FPS, and needed a little break. It was too close to GT5 release anyway.

Feedback I've received, some like it a lot, some were 'meh'. While so many people try to(some still try almost everyday!) get me this thing, not one of them came to me about how amazing the game is, so I don't feel like I'm missing out on much, except I get harassed everyday at work.

I have been thinking about picking up CoD4 again. I mostly want to play the campaign again because I completely rushed through it, as I picked CoD4 up the week MW2 came out and then traded it in towards MW2 after finishing the campaign. Having not played a FPS extensively since Halo (maybe?) and not played a FPS extensively online at all, I wanted to see what I was missing out on with CoD4. It was rough at first not having played a FPS in quite a long time, especially the entire hour and a half I spent playing CoD4 online. I did not find any kind of FPS stride until well into MW2. Now I think I would enjoy CoD4's campaign much more than I already did when I played it, as my skills have improved some and I would not be in as much of a rush to finish it as I was before.

Considering how little time I have had to play Black Ops, it may be tough to find time for CoD4 though.

I can give you little feedback on Black Ops outside of the campaign, as I have only spent about two and a half hours playing online. The campaign was fun and the trip jumping through years was pretty cool; compared to CoD4 or MW2, it was probably about the same for me excitement and entertainment wise, which is to say I very much enjoyed playing through each games' campaign.

On the multiplayer side, I can only really tell you about Combat Training. It is like playing online, but instead of people, you play against bots. I have found it to be helpful in learning the maps before jumping into multiplayer, as it gives a bit of an objective to exploring the maps, instead of just wandering around not paying attention to the map's features. In my little time playing against people, the Combat Training has paid off, as I have not been a complete noob wandering aimlessly exploring the map and not paying attention to people shooting at me.

Lastly, since I skipped WaW because of when I started playing the CoD series, that is basically starting at MW2, I cannot tell you much about the Zombie experience, as I cannot compare Black Ops to WaW and I have spent about half an hour playing it so far.

You are not missing out, you are quids in.

I LOVED the campaign in CoD4. 👍 MW2 Campaign I thought was decent, and it was quite exciting when the Russians started invading Washington. But to be honest, I've become like the majority who just jump on the multiplayer as soon as the game is out.

Combat Training sounds really cool. I'd welcome that in any FPS I might play.

GT5 will be an epic fail.
Tell us how you really feel!

To me, GT4 was an epic fail. The game was realistic, but I thought the fun factor was just gone. Honestly, I don't know if I'm gonna even like the game, but we'll find out next week!

GT4 was the best game of the series. I hadn't had that much fun since GT2. This game is going to be an ever bigger fail than GT3 was.

Thats ok though I'll just play more black ops. 👍

Was just checking out this thread to find out that I created it (O.o) and it is 2 posts away from 400 pages...nice work guys.
