The Gran Turismo Sport Closed BETA Test has been updated.
1: The contents of the update are as follows:
- Game physics have been updated.
- Force Feedback intensity has been adjusted.
- Various sound sources have been updated.
- Online experience has been improved.
- Rolling starts now available in [Daily Races].
- The algorithm behind the calculation of the Sportsmanship Rating has been changed.
- It is now possible to assign specific buttons to hazard lights and indicators.
- The braking indicator can now be switched ON/OFF under [Driving Options].
- Saved game data files are now stored online.
2: Fixed certain bugs.

Excellent! Time to give it another go and see if the changes have gone forwards rather than backwards. Just about to go to work so would appreciate everybody's thoughts who get a chance to test it out. Enjoy!
So far so nice, wish they would add the ability to turn the tire sounds a bit lower because the new tire sounds are making me deaf in the cockpit view.
I have a strong feeling PD listened to the community and truly enhanced the physics
No tracks :/. That's the most detailed Porsche ever. People will be happy to see rolling starts.

First race v1.06
many new options. "auto-drive", "braking indicator", "Countersteering Assistance". first impression is everything feels smoother and lighter, Ffb smoother and lighter, new revcounter colors? New winner screen after race. Ping back down at 40 from 140. gtr sounds different.. shifting atleast
surpricingly messed up the first corner after update..
skidmarks are there (and off-track is definetely more demanding.. Not really, sorry) - one can get proberly stuck at sand
I see people in pits, this is new. Auto-drive and countersteering assistance are just renamed assists and active steering
camera angles seem to be fixed now in replay.. same angle every time..
Cockpit view can be adjusted!

When a car is beside you there seems to be a black gradient in their direction on the side of these screen... Is that a blindspot indicator?
Did the reward thingy stop? Or do they simply not count on races?

Daily reward is either fixed and no porsche or broken. Did 50km, says daily completed but no car. I do have all 36 though..
Picture i think is definetely softer.. Just dont know if i like it..

Can you delete duplicate cars?
I've collected all cars and received some dupes. :/
Feels like theres slightly less grip on track or then ABS mild lets wheels lock more. Offtrack/curbs/grass still have too much grip even though some gravel pits sink you in quite well.
Online seems very smooth.. Too much ghosting though.
My wheel clunks so bad whilst turning the GT-R into the last bend on Brands Hatch Indy... it sounds like it's going to fall apart tbh
G29 i presume? Turn up ffb sensitivity to 3-4
Edit: felt that now too at gr4 gtr at brands. Also braking in to the first corner.
Effect for understeer? Not very subtle..
Yeah using a G29.. I turned it off for now to let it heal for a bit after that beating it took from the horrible feedback it's like the feedback you get when a roller coaster is clunking it's way up the first climb on the chain
