And also please someone record it i won't be home for about a week. I am in the process of moving. So please someone record it.

If i may make a interesting turn of events for the battle put no collisions on. Think about it. Stock same make car and same track no collisions (so no drafting) just pure skill will show.

And who ever wins in will give say 3 instead of one birthday tickets of the year or years of winner's choosing and i will send in about a week when I get to the new place.

Yeah, or at least someone post a link to the replay file so we can watch it in GT5 itself. I have a feeling I will miss this.

Yeah i just want to see it.

It handles like a Gran Turismo 5 car.
I've only driven it with comfort soft and abs off, but I certainly have not experienced anything out of the ordinary.
It's not unusual at all. Its balance is just as you would expect from a soft heavy fr road car with fat tyres and a lazy v8. Understeer biased.

There's a better argument for saying gt5 cars all handle like crap than there is for saying that this particular car does whilst others do not!

I have to agree that more than anything, it feels like a GT5 car. But I didn't think it felt "understeery". It definitely does feel like a GT5 car though, rather than some unique experience.

I've got a video capture device that I can plug into my TV. As soon as you guys know the time and room number, let me know. I'll upload the video to Youtube and post the link here.

Awesome. You want me to host the lobby in a private lobby? Or would you prefer an open lobby? Just thinking about random intruders.

You're right that it does not have excessive understeer, but, I found that unless provoked with aggressive turn-in or on the power, it would settle in to gentle, safe, steady-state understeer. Just as I would expect from a road car.

Private of course, I have 0 friends on this PSN so friend slots aren't a problem here: add rgt_runner if you wish to spectate/compete.

I guess private lobby makes more sense.

No way, we are going public with this, I just got off the phone with LV in fact and told him I will host the spectacle on a Public lobby with an obvious title and will be posting the room number when It is up. He is out of the house for the next few hours so don't expect it for a while anyway.

I have opened a new thread. I don't know how to provide a link on my iPhone. It's under spot races, thread is called Roll up, Roll up.

Can someone link?

So whilst you lot try to settle an argument by the completely unrelated method of seeing who's faster and created a thread for it, could this thread then return to discussing the WrinkleVette if that's okay?

I don't see why people are complaining..

When driving the car, it felt really good. I'm able to drive it on the racing line and make some consistent lap times.

Sometimes it'll snap loose coming out of a corner, and sometimes the front wheels will slide a little on entry. But really people, it's a 1500 KG car with 450 HP. You can't expect it to handle like an F1 car, get over it.

I apply a cream moisturizer to help out with the wrinkles.

I'm in the same boat when talking about the car.
For a pre-production test mule, it is actually really good. Not often is a prototype that great, hence the prototype title. If it were a finished product it would be publicly available.

I think they just dialled in the data of the final production version as it is finished by now with only about 2 months until release like I mentioned before.
I doubt they based it on a high mileage handbuild pre-production prototype as that wouldn't be much of a promo.
It's just the camouflage that's accurately reproduced, the physics are likely to be those of the actual production car (the GT5 version).

I'd have to imagine that the two would be pretty similar, considering they're building the final version based off of this prototype. But maybe they're slightly different, although I wouldn't imagine that they'd be too far apart. Otherwise, what's the point of the prototype if the final version is completely different?

Ofcourse they're similar but these pre-production versions are closer to the final product at the end of testing (assuming it needs adjusting and fine tuning) then at the beginning.
Ofcourse multiple examples are build during this process and the final ones are the same as the final car, apart from being handbuild.
That's why I think the prototype version we're having has the same handling model (again in GT5) as the production C7 we're gonna get and that's what I meant with dialling in the final data.
The actual accurate data of the real prototype might not be useful since it'll have gained high mileage due to extensive testing which has an effect on the handling (that's again assuming GT5 is that accurate).
