It's not going to work anymore, no more Tokyo. PD wanted this to happen for a long time. We will never get the car below 600PP again.
 
I'm actually going to get a new Tomahawk and dispose my current one because of the update. I'm not going to drive it anymore because of this. I'm gonna do a different race. I'm gonna delete all the replays involving that race and make sure I don't have the car anymore.

If the glitch has been fixed, I just have to give props to PD, because clearly something like that can't happen on a game like this.

Still, it wouldn't do PD any harm to add a Gr.1 (top class of cars in the game other than one make races with Red Bull X2014s) with a race that nets you about over 2 million per hour at the very least.

I haven't done the Gr.1 menu books (somehow I have to re-install the game again due to this update patch that bricked the game), so if anyone has done them, tell me how much you can get in those.

All they did was disallow gear ratios to affect PP lol.

So is there a tune for 700, 800 or 900PP at other tracks? I'm sure it'll cut any event's speed by half with its insane speed. Might be worth it.

You mean 100% more time. 1.600.000 per hour - 12,5 hours to get 20.000.000. Tomahawk was 3.300.000 per hour so ~6 hours for 20kk.

If you want to be precise at it, then I just take 2 rough estimates of 16 minutes vs 27 minutes which would be about 69% more time required.

Hey m8, did you mess with the gear settings at all to get yours to 646PP?
Tried copying yours but couldn't get anywhere near 646PP.

Did you try messing around with tire types? Comfort hard front racing inters back or something like that. Diff settings as well

Gear Ratio no longer affects PP on the Tomahawk so it is no longer allowed on Tokyo anymore. Try doing setups? It won't work anymore. Because PD hates us for it.

there are more configuration options than just transmission. you can do goofy things with tires, height, downforce, ballast, LSD, etc.

it's not impossible that something will be found, but it might also make the car almost undrivable.

gear settings do not affect PP anymore.

Im not sure why PD had to do anything other than make the Tomahawk unavailable for online races. I for one like driving that insane car at Tokyo. I put over 32,000 miles on the Tomahawk at Tokyo and was still learning how to be faster. You also quickly learn that the AI is not the same every race. There were times that I would center punch the rear of the last place Viper at the end of L4 at 250MPH in the S's and other times I didnt catch him till the straight even though I had equivalent or faster lap times. I have been running this race for the last 6 weeks and have 61,000,000 in the bank and every used car and legendary car on offer during that time but I would be happy to have the option to run it for at least another 6 weeks, I just had fun driving this race. Some of the replays were very funny too.
 
646pp will still get it into Sarthe Road; not quite as good of a payout but a LOT better than any of the other means.

Going to start tinkering and I'll see what I can come up with as well.

I bet in 1.16, they're probably going to ban the Tomahawk X from all races except for arcade mode & custom races

PD launched this update near they put Sauber C9, Porsche 917K, Ferrarri F40, McLaren F1 and more in legendary dealership... That's pretty “sadistic” I must say... I'm broken now after buying the Jag and the Porsche 911 GT1. I'm desperate to get credits to buy the upcoming cars...

so just do it with a legal car and take the 50% longer hit.

or drive the le mans half hour with a 787b.

As they should... The car is almost literally a cheating car.

But it seems way too logical for them to do it that way.

They should make Gran Turismo 7 it's last appearance and not add it to Gran Turismo 8 as a exploit prevention measure. It should go back to 3 Tomahawks but this time it would only be the Tomahawk S, Tomahawk GTS, & Tomahawk GR.1 only, No Tomahawk X and give the crown to the Red Bull X2019.

Or just adjust every race payout to 2.000.000 per hour of racing so people won't care about farming credits. I don't get why only 4 events have decent payout. Why not all of them...

Or make available all legendary cars at hagerty so no FOMO - no farming.
