No, it could be a possibility - but not likely as Gran Turismo sponsored even before GT5 came out, so it's not guaranteed for GT6 either.

No, this just means that Gran Turismo is a major sponsor for the race. Check out the 24hr Nurburgring they have been sponsoring that for a few years now
