1 minute before the 5:30 Race B. So, no qualy. Started 11/15. Finished 11/15. WRX was born asking way early from the start. It gets off the gas at the right hander before the PZ. RCZ behind me feels that the place to pass me. WRROOOOONG! Punts me to last.

Made my way back up to 11th. An AMG GT3 was skittish the last few corners. Setting a time will be paramount.

Set a 1:58.150 at Monza in the Megane. All RCZs are 2 seconds faster in the top 10. I refuse to use that car.

Edit: dropped it down to a 1:57.239. was .275 in Sector 1. Braked too early towards the back chicane. Oh well.starting 7/12. Mixed RCZ/TT room. I'm the only Megane.

Edit2: RCZ has always sucked with handling. Slows everyone up. Yes, it can speed past, but in corners and in a tow, it's a sitting duck.

My 2nd gear start with TCS 1 bogged me down. I usually get away with that in the Scirocket. Had to drop to 1st, TCS Off and just burn rubber. I still pulled the RCZs to T1.

The trouble with RCZ users are noone gives room. They don't work together. Good for me and the P1 TT.
I got a .5 because, the RCZ that finished with the penalty, was slow at the second chicane. I evaded and got the .5. Served I and the TT passed me. Next, the RCZ in 5th, thinks I can pass me going into the final chicane, because it was gaining. :rolleyes:
Was it worth it to get a 1 second and me another .5? Hate that crap.

Anyway, serve again. The two RCZs are banging each other and the TT goes past for P1. I'm catching these two still not giving an inch to each other. At the final chicane, they nearly take each other out. Penalty is given to one and into the parabolica, I'm side-o-by-side-o to the finish. I'ma do Race A all week, when I can. Bump those Pepe le'Pewgeots.

Ran C the first one I think. Set a time of 1:26.2 I think,was good enough to p7.
Had a fellow GTP member in the race, it is always good to see someone from here!

Advanced from p7 to p5 but got flipped in the chicane. I don't think it was malicious, just a different line and brake point (although the player had been flashing his headlights since the pit) so I was p14 after that. Finished p7.
SR still 99, DR up 200....

And this is where my alt gets annoying. Spend half an hour to 45 minutes qualifying for race C. Knock out a 24.5 exact fairly early, but with mistakes in the lap. Whole rest of the time, close but cant beat it.

Switch to my alt as that is where I plan on doing most of my actual racing this week. 2nd lap 24.3 :banghead::banghead::boggled:

Some sort of weird jinx and it has happened almost every time I qualify both accounts. The mind and reflexes refresh or something. Oh well. At least the better time is on the account I plan on racing.

Problem with this is a lack of tyre wear. Otherwise they are fun.

We had some "friendly" races between the seasons in the private league I am in with random assignment of the cars and we had great races:

- FF's at Mt. Panorama - 19 laps, MH
-Japanese 4WD at RBR in the rain 23 laps, both Interm and HW mandatory
-Spa GT3(only real GT3/GTE), 35 laps, full damage

I would love that they do these kinds of combos in FIA or dailies. Never gonna happen

Bloody hell, 3 races at Monza and I get so much punting, my SR drops down to 19...

Oh well, over to Race C for some clean laps to get it back up - 2 races, could barely pass someone without getting rammed... and SR downs for a reset!

FFS this penalty system is still so screwed - at least in SR D land, the punters get ghosted half the time

but yeah, lost opportunity to do Italian N400’s at Monza!
 
Was a little nervous seeing I was the only SR S in the lobby...

But was careful lap 1 and from there I made it to p4 on lap 2. Then I made it the rest of the way by others misfortune.

Edit: can someone explain to me how I start as p10 then finish as P1 and only gained 8 places?

I had tremendous successes yesterday on the Mountain. Such a great racetrack.
But all good things must come to an end...
This A and B this week are going to be like UFC matches.
I’m game to go all Monza, but never drove it, so watch out if you see me coming. I may or may not brake...

It"s obvious. Your front air downforce is up to high. Take it down .3 bar and you'll clear the wall with the same launch.👍

BTW, I did about 20 laps at Tokyo to set a time. 23.8xx, with my optimal at 23.4. I lifted coming out of the right hander before the chicane, so there's time to be had. Don't know if I'll chance this one on my main, but from the back will be fun. Probably won't do anyghing in A this week. PD will be lucky if I spend 5 minutes just to put up a time. How about an n300 or n400 BOP with any choice of garage cars. Wouldn't that be nice. To be able to race some of the cool cars we all have, sitting in the garage gathering dust. Maybe even limit it to pre-1973 cars. Old iron!

Gotten mine down to a 23.7. But in race, can't seem to break in to the 24's consistently.

Had a race with someone who pulled a 23.6 in race. Some quick folks out there. Definitely not a place to bring the main account.

No qual.
My first ever Monza race I went last to fifth early lap 1 but crashed out on an attempted late dive on turn four or five. I’m going full send this week...

It’s happened at least 3 times this morning already, I don’t remember that happening before? I guess, I do have a “Target” decal on the back of that car though. :lol:

Gonna try a few Daily Races now, starting with C from the back. Might have to Q for this one though, it could get ugly pretty quick. :lol:
