Had a good day yesterday. All clean. A few podiums.
1st race this morning not so good. Got knocked out on the uphill S turn, lap 2, from 5th down to 9th. Seemed intentional. Car came in really fast, almost no brakes, bounced off my rear and continued straight through, full momentum. Nasty but it works perfect. Watch your rear view.![]()
It's a special technique I've seen a couple times in the lower SR brackets on DT: Seaside. When two cars approach the chicane, a third car behind will dive in and use both cars as bumpers to get through the chicane by aiming in between them as they make the corners. Dive bomb for experts. The penalty system approves of this move as the double contact has 66% chance on putting the blame on one of the other two if someone goes off. If both stay on the other two get SR Down since they are on the outside in both parts.
