I'm not trying to rain on anyone's one make parade, I just want more races per day so that everyone is happy, no matter which class of car they prefer.

For me, the Group races are the heart of GTS, but I admit that it may not be the sole focus for PD. I just want options, because for instance today my option is either to go do some time trials or play another game. And that's probably not what PD wants to hear, assuming they want to retain their online player base.

More races sounds fun, but I respect the argument that it would dilute the player base, and also the limited choice pushes people to play outside their comfort zone. Not going to get me racing GR1 mind, however hard they try (unless they put le sarthe in hah)

I think it would´nt do so... "dilute the player base" ... many players refuse to play certain types o race.. like for example GT1 on Tokio´s Express or Mount Panorama... for example...(who woud´nt??) and with a larger number of racing options and challenges, I´m very sure that the number of online players would raise considerably!

Major rage quit earlier, clipped the green stuff and was sent into an unusually spinny frenzy. Eventually it spawned me back into the race but in reverse gear! Race ruined, absolutely fuming

Awww yeh! I'm sitting on pole (Daily Race B) with a time of 2:24.809. Made a few mistakes, so there's still time to find (prob. around 2s, lol)

Just did 1.5h of hotlapping around Suzuka in the R32, FL was a 1:25.3, optimum a 1:24.6. I‘m just too dumb to string together a really good lap and continuously screw up one or two corners :banghead:

If here is not so many very good drivers, my lap would be fantastic... :)

However, I still think that is ok:

Before that I had one great race, finished second with pole, leading 2.5/3 laps and FL of 2:26.337 - posted in first lap, when speed on finish line was much slower.
So, that was fast lap.

Just finished my first race for the night. Bathurst, which is ironic, since I had just been watching the 12h. I swear the track looks 1/3 wider on tv than it does in the game!

I came to the party late, so only had enough time for nearly 2 laps qualifying. All quiet at the back of the bus. I managed to make up a few places. Lots of carnage ahead of me, and there seemed to be weird crashes for no apparent reason, like a car would suddenly veer off and into a wall. I was digging the race, just wish it was more laps. I was having a lot of fun pretending to be the White Comet of Akagi .

Yes, I know...it's not an FC :p.

I'm really tired of these days where we have two races with road cars. They don't even use supercars for these one makes. Like I feel that PD puts these races in solely to please the GT people who didn't actually believe in the vision of GTS, so in that case they should just allow tuning and upgrades on these races like people want to.

And I like Gr.1 races, but they are stressful and require intense concentration in a way that Gr.3 and Gr.4 races do not, so it isn't the kind of thing I usually want to experience when I'm trying to relax at night.

I think they should have one of the races were they allow tuning and see what the uptake is on that race.
One thing that could happen is that all serious racers go there and then if you just want to drive stock in one of the other races you get punted in the first turn.

Try to be less agressive on the throttle in the 'S' curves. That way, no need to use the brake and you should be faster 👍

Holy moly, the dailies is so bad today.

Brand's hatch wasn't relaxing tonight either, I should have gone to bed two hours ago. Couldn't even keep it on the road for one whole race. Must be the controller!
I encountered the same issue when I joined the Brands Hatch race C with the McLaren 650S, couldn't keep it on the road on the first lap and fell from 3rd to 12th- like seriously wtf, I quit in first lap as I wasn't going to spend 14 laps fighting this car... the day before I did 3 races with the 650S just fine and almost won a race with it and now this. This is the third time this has happened to me with the 650S.

That's fine, but they need to add more races to the lineup. There should always be at least one Gr.3 or Gr.4 race in the daily lineup.

Be sure to voice your opinion here and vote! Might be able to make a change if we're loud enough :)

Don't really have much experience in gr1, is it worth blowing my last million credits on the TS050 for race c?

I swear sometimes my controller suddenly won't turn fully. I'm driving the same, brake the same for a corner and then it simply understeers to the point I have to slow down so much I fall another 2 seconds behind or run off the road. I've done GR.3 on Brand's Hatch before without any issues, no clue why it was such a struggle last night. I was not the only one, so many cars flying off the road.

It could be fatigue though, I notice that I don't always push the left stick the correct way and it's slightly diagonal which limits how far right/left the wheel in game goes. I also have a tendency to not lift my right finger completely off the throttle when tired, damn ageing fingers.

The cars started pretty heavy on fuel in yesterdays race, could explain why they feel sluggish for the first couple laps. I noticed I always started with over 10 laps of fuel in that race, once I did about 2-3 laps the car felt a lot better.

10 laps of fuel with the 7x fuel consumption rate on, that's a lot of extra weight. I wish they would show us how many litres of fuel we start with so we aren't going into the race blind.

It's called astro-turf and it's realistic. It is easy enough to get used to avoiding accelerating when you are touching it.

Obviously I don’t accelerate on it but if you catch it on the outside of a bend you can’t turn still like you could on say, grass. Awful, awful stuff

Does anyone know how many laps of fuel you start with in race c?

Going off memory, the last time they did GR.1 Interlagos you had enough fuel to do a no stop strategy in some cars (veyron), but your tires got very very worn. It was worth it though as Interlagos has a horrific pit lane.

They've bumped it up to 15 now, so - if tire and fuel wear stayed roughly the same, this should be a clear 1 stop strategy running with little fuel conservation.

Grass doesn't have any more grip than astroturf. Suzuka's challenging nature is the whole appeal, one of the last few un-nerfed great tracks still standing :)
