No worries. It’s still the same menu, just choose to map the DS4 instead of a wheel.![]()
[I think the Greddy Fugu]
I've a feeling it will be something else (hopefully I'm not being too optimistic) if PD's current trend of variety is to go by. The Plymouth, E-Type or X-BOW would be interesting to see. I'd love if it was the latter, I can picture it being a good fit. Although I won't be too upset if it's the Fugu, it was fun driving it around Tsukuba last time.
I'm looking forward to Monza (please no chicane), last time was with Gr.1 many moons ago. I don't think Gr.3 has been used since the weekly race switch. I also stumbled into a lobby recently with Gr.3 at Monza which was very enjoyable.
I map it to l1, as i am usually not braking with DRS open provided I am thinking straight.Ok, thanx
This is dirty af . I would report you and post the video for doing this and probably give you a nice little payback.
Braking early is the easiest way to let someone pass you, or to ensure you exit as fast as possible. It's entirely on you since to did not go for the inside line.
He is braking at the beginning of the curb, which is few m after the braking point for the F1, he could as well not be used to the better braking of the porsche.
Try the Z4
I'm not criticizing the outside move, im criticizing the part where he claims purposely provoking a penalty is an appropriate way to deal with a less skilled driver that did nothing wrong. Seeing the way the Porsche took the turn, he gained time on the previous drivers and probably managed to catch their draft on the way to Arnage.
Essentially, if you complain about people driving too slow, just qualify better or drive more carefully.
I'm not complaining about people that slow down after the Porsche curve even though it annoys me. But then again, the only time it annoyed me was when I got a penalty and got passed by someone slower. Otherwise qualifying takes care of removing slower drivers.
@Sven Jurgens I just had an idea. You can’t draft your ghost in Qualifying, but can you draft one in a race? He’s my theory, coming down the long straights you just pause the game so your car ghosts out(while maintaining full throttle because you’re on a straight) but the guy behind loses his draft because you’re a ghost, then Unpause near the end of the straight and continue on. It might also work if your about to get draft bumped, he’d go right through you instead.![]()
Next week races:
A: Tsukuba Circuit - N300 [I think the Greddy Fugu]
B: Dragon Trail Gardens - Gr. 4
C: Monza - Gr. 3
I like race B and C. These will be my favourites.
57s optimal... With the autobox if I read your sig correct? Hot damn I gotta qualify betterDown to 3:58.6 at Le Mans in the GT-R with low 57's on the optimum. Big fan of the track limits and trying to make it turn through the Porsche curves, still.

You get dirty air from ghosts too, it's a real pain when you're lapping people in race C because you lose a lot of grip and the backmarkers don't pull over because they're ghosting. I've seen it actually influence the race for the win sometimes. You can draft ghosts in race, you'll just be making it easy for them to draft right through you! That's what I do now when the car in front of me has a penalty in the 3rd penalty zone and refuses to move off the line. I just go through them to take the best line through the chicane. Trying to avoid their ghost never works there.
mum's credit cardWhat is the fastest way of making 600k credits? That’s all I need for the SF19 on my eu account.

Yep! That was after four laps. I'm sure being in different/better gears through the Porsche curves would help with the understeer.57s optimal... With the autobox if I read your sig correct? Hot damn I gotta qualify better
Removed 1.5 seconds off my QT at la Sarthe with the Ford GT so 3:58.6 now. Two wheels in and two out approach at the apex without being too scared of penalties seems to have helped. I still can't help closing my eyes each time at Tertre Rouge and other places in hope I didn't hit a penalty.
The last sector definitely makes or breaks the lap. If I can hit 3:57, I'll be happy. I doubt I can go beyond that.
Use the old Mazda RX car in GT League professional, the premium sports lounge race 1, BMB. If you use a N300 car you get 375,000k in 12 minutes work with clean race bonus.

Remember what I said yesterday about the time to be found in that last sector at Autopolis, well I found more.
Ok it's right on the edge of using too much grass but I got away with it.
Dirty? What am I supposed to do, punt him off or dive bomb on his inside and knock him off? I'm going as far left as possible, I have overlap before turn in, he keeps pushing me over the line not paying attention. I try to avoid yet am not stepping the last bit over the line until he bumps me over it. People need to watch their position in the braking zone, not drift over. I'm not giving him a penalty on purpose, was simply trying to keep 2 wheels inside the line not to get a shortcut penalty while avoiding him.
I'm not braking late, despite him forcing me on the less grippy side of the braking zone I still easily make the apex. He's in a car that can brake almost at the bend of the kerb, braking at the start of the kerb is braking too early in the Porsche. That's why I drive all the car so I know where every car's braking point is.
if they don't pay attention and push you off, penalty for them.
Where does that say I purposely provoke a penalty for him? I could not go further to the left without getting a shortcut penalty.
I knocked a bit more off of my La Sarthe time this morning, down to a 57.0 now in the Big Mac, I turned off TCS and started staying in 3rd through the chicanes along the big straight. The tops guys are getting insane times on this track, I’m gonna have to study some laps, there’s still over 3 seconds left there somewhere.
I decided to go with some race music today to mix things up because I was getting nowhere with this combo. Ironically, this song was the one that did the trick.
It’s conveniently 4:00 long too!![]()
The only dirty part was your manipulation of the penalty system for your mistake. Because make no doubt about it, intentionally giving him a penalty places you in the wrong. He wasn’t driving dirty and didn’t deserve what you did. And it was a mistake, you misjudged your opponents braking zone. You are the car attempting to pass, the
It’s not a matter of you braking too late. But you need to anticipate what the driver ahead of you is going to do. His line might be totally different from yours, his braking zone early etc. and he could still set the same lap time despite these differences. It’s your job to find a weakness and get past him cleanly, not complain that his line is different.
For instance Race A this week, I’m a lot less aggressive in turn 1 and the final turn than most, I prefer to brake a little earlier to set the car and carry greater speed. I’m still watching my mirror like a hawk on lap 1-2 when guys are close, but if they make a late attempt, depending on the corner there might not be much I can do.
Sorry but in this scenario you deserve the penalty not him.
That's an interesting first post.
GTPlanet is based in North America, and requires - as the first point of the Acceptable Use Policy - all users to post in English. As a result, our highest traffic nations are Anglophonic, with the USA and UK alone accounting for two-thirds of site traffic. Mostly Anglophone Canada and Australia also sit in the top five pretty regularly.
However, GTPlanet counts members and regular readers from across the globe. France, Germany, Netherlands and Spain are all usually in the top ten, and right now Italy and Brazil are rounding that out. South Africa, Japan and Malaysia all currently sit in the top fifteen, accounting for all six populated continents (I can't find any readers from Antarctica right now, but I recall we've had one) - thus GTPlanet is GTPlanet, and not GTNorthamerica or GTEnglishspeakingcountries.
I'm not sure what irony or "blanket negative stereotype" you're reading there.
