Have you guys noticed that sometimes they use famous people's names for the A.I. drivers? I just did a Z race against S. Wozniak.

I wonder if they have different personalities as well. I've only been rammed off by a Brazilian and a Japansese AI driver while I did my N24 tests against the AI. Most of them move out of the way and brake on time, actually crash themselves to avoid you. They do still have the good old sleep driving until you get close then suddenly speed up and start overtaking the car ahead of them to get away from you. Herding sheep is the best description for dealing with the AI.

What I've noticed is that if you're alongside to them, but slightly behind, you don't exist. They'll move over and hit you, unless your front bumper is at least a little bit in front of their's, then they will avoid you.

2 more done at Suzuka. Would normally do 3 but I think I'm done now...

Race 1. P3 > P4. Got a little bit loose on L2. A bit of nothingness by my standards but enough to lose the position to the Dane behind. We raced hard to the flag. I think he beat me by .05 of a second. Almost a photo finish after I dragged him out of Casio.

Race 2. P1 > P3. My first ever pole position. Was going swimmingly until P2 collected me at the hairpin. Rammed by a Russian. No-one wants that. Rejoined the track in 6th and recovered to the podium. The Russian went backwards to 9-10th. Justice of a sort. And let's be honest, if he hadn't hit me, I would no doubt have dumped it myself. Probably at Casio on L4 when cruising to victory.

Time to practice Sardegna and compile this week's 'Life in DR/D' video. Got a bit of a series going. I'll link it all when I'm done!

p.s. Don't accidentally/on purpose mark GTPlanet email notifications as junk. It doesn't go down very well... Hats off to the mods for helping me reactivate my account! #slaponthewrist

First Race A of the day was a bumpy ride lol, I started 2nd and was knocked back a couple times but made it back up to 4th by the end. Hopefully the 2nd one is a little smoother. :)

I'm not doing well in this damned heat/humidity.

Best lap of 2:01.100 at Suzuka, in the 'Vette so far today.

Get some moisture stored up in that home made face refresher we call a beard and plough on!

I reckon I'm on for around 100+ laps now, race and QTT combined. I'm not getting anywhere close to my best/opt.

I wish I could blame the climate and environmental settings, but ineptitude is closer to the truth!

In other news. I saw @sturk0167 was Camaro lobbying, so went to grab this out of Grandpa's garage.

But by the time we'd got there you'd gone! Another time maybe. She needs the cobwebs blowing out!

Race A has been really fun and competitive for me this week. I think the track is part of it. As I really like it since it was added and it suits side and side racing pretty well for the most part.

It doesn't need to be wet. Just needs a breeze. Two fans in my living room. Still feel like I'm slowly cooking  I'm pretty much done at 20c.

It's been stupid hot on the island, today. Breeze coming off the Irish Sea was nice when we went for a walk along the cliffs, though.

I'm sorry. I had to shut it down to go to the store.

@Groundfish I messed around with that caption generator you showed me. I made a video. :D
Check it out:

@Sven Jurgens @Pigems

Just had an awesome 4 lap battle with a Canadian on the Clio V6 race. We both started on the front and spent the whole race taking the lead from each other. Was extremely close all the time, corner after corner, until he lost it on the first corner in the last lap, which gave me the win and time to breathe. Was intense and we never touched!

And patiently waiting/wishing for -

Oh my. I bought one in 1984, with a slow 1.6 engine. Pushed a rod though the engine block on the freeway. Bought a used engine, 1,6 with the dohc, changed the bearings on the crank, forged pistons with a slightly lower compression, ripped a turbo out of an Escort RS Turbo and had the most fun Celica in Denmark for a year and a half before I flipped it.
Still missing that one. If they bring it to GTS I will never step out of it again.

Yeh, when the temp gets down as low as 20C, I'm in long sleeves and a jacket .. brrrrrr!

Wowzer. Yeah... No. I'm an English Rose over here. Generally just crisp up at the mere mention of sun. 19-20 is probably optimum comfyness.

Its been Mid to High 20s in my corner of blighty though pretty much the last 2-3 weeks.

Still, if its too warm to sleep, I might as well stay down stairs and race on! I suspect my wife is actually quite content with the arrangement... :scared:
