Damn, spent an hour lapping Suzuka being silly and trying to hit my K' lap time goal. How the hell people are getting below 49 shows a massive jump in skill. Tried with both GT-Rs as those are the only Gr2 cars I own. I find the 2016 car stable but a bit understeery and the 08? car super nimble but twitchy. Ended up lapping constantly at 1.50 low, just begging to get below the 49.8 I have. No luck. If I made time in one section i lost it in another with either car.

Cant grumble too much I guess as a week the fastest optimum time I have had is still only a 49.6. Definitely going to have to really work on Suzuka as it continues to be a bogey track for me where 90 pct of my trouble is my own mistakes. On the plus side I have gotten massively better at Spoon and the hairpin.:dopey:

Hats off to you guys consistently faster there. Even your replays haven't been helping me break my hoodoo, but it will come. Who is up for Monza chaos?

I picked up 3 wins this weekend. Had some excellent races. Thank you to all that kept it clean. I actually had some fantastic lobbies last night. Clean close racing!

Looking forward to seeing more of you out there, and looking forward to some new tracks this week.

So I am stuck at work and probably not going to be on for a couple if days, what's the tire rule for race C?
Just like the FIA race. All three compounds

I called it with the OyVeyron.

I'll hold off on qualy. I was on for a high 57(in the Supra) before I exited just before the finish line. I think I'll be swamped into T1 due to the slipstream. Might be okay through the chicanes, as it's so smooth. Final chicane, Supra has awesome speed and the final turn, it's hooked up. We'll see in five minutes.

Finished 15th. Oh, brother! Pe-nal-ties!!!

Just a fraction off on the chicanes and contact with another car will serve you up.

I got hit from the back twice.

Slipstream helped versus a TT and Vantage. They both couldn't pull away from me. Only through the first 3 gears. F-Type seemed stronger.

Anyway, time to qualify.

Just raced Monza race B in the Lexus. Mixed room of A/S and B/S drivers and a pretty varied field of cars.

Super clean race, even in the chicanes! Started 8th and finished 7th. The top 7 were covered by 0.918 seconds at the line!!
Lucky you. I almost made it through the first chicane unscathed. Got bumped on exit...and again...again and into a spin. All I could see was an OyVeyron while I'm pointed against traffic.

Edit: Did a 1:58.0xx. Optimum 1:57.7xx
Got aero wash behind that TT at the final chicane. Lost momentum and the Jag got by. Other than that, clean racing and no drama(besides a start glitch. Whole field bunched up at the parabolica).

Well, started last 15/15 on my alt account and finished 7/15. RCZ Cup has taken over.

Edit: Took a chance on this one. A few players I race against, are much quicker than me. Cars getting punted and penalties a'plenty.

The Veyron is super fast in quali but racing is not fun. You have to brake a lot earlier than all other which results either in you getting punted or punting others because that thing will just not stop even when braking a second earlier. Tried a couple of others, but I can't come even close to my Veyron time.

I never even took it to race. Ran two laps and decided it was boring for me..
Ferrari instead.

Did a race at Monza this morning, still one of my favorite tracks. Started 11th finished 10th, lost 9th going wide in the last corner. I usually use the Genesis, I was 1.2 seconds faster in it in 1 lap than I was in the Ferrari. Guess it just suits my driving style. Was good to see a lot of variety in the race too.

Got the 180SX down to a 1:59.3 so far, there’s still more there, but I run out of patience really quickly on these Tokyo tracks. A late apex on the hairpin is helpful, also cut the 🤬 out of the chicane, this car takes it well. :)
