I have been no stopping the 962 all week so far. FM 2 at the start, rev it out until I hit 4th gear on the straight, then shifting at about 2/3 of the rev bar for the rest of the lap except exiting corvette. Usually have enough to blast FM 1 full for the straight on lap 4 and all of lap 5. Usually ending with 0.2 or 0.3 laps left in tank.👍I don't know who you're racing, but is Fuel 3 am option? I've only tried it in the one race using the R92CP. It gives anything faster than the hybrids, a chance to pass, but saved me fuel. I had 2.4 laps starting Lap 4. Not sure how the 962 is with fuel economy.
Not super fast, running 28 or 29 lap times that way, but man the hybrids get twitchy that last stretch when you have been close enough for a little battle, then suddenly launch it on the end like that.
I also don't know if I am just getting worse drivers, but I have found if I nail the correct turn in for Porsche i don't actually lose time through that twisty section until corvette. Ford Chicanes and dunlop is another story though.
Edit, have also noted that with other GR C cars in my races I have kept almost the same speed as them even though I am fuel saving by being smoother through the chicanes on the straight and by killing mulsanne and the indy and arnage complex. Smooth and don't overdrive trying to brake late. Get an early turn in and smooth power out.
