Finally have a money maker. Race C with the Ford GT. Probably the fastest top end and average handling on this course. 1:39.344 holds up fairly well for qualifying. Was P4, finished P3 and I think I gained 1200+pts.

May I ask what's wrong with the RCZ and why it gets so much hate? :D
With some of the Gr. 4 races for Daily B race, the RCZ Gr. 4 quickly becomes the go-to car. It's known for its insane acceleration, which makes it a good choice for many tracks. So whenever a Daily Race B with Gr. 4 comes into rotation, it's assumed that the RCZ will be dominant there... which it is, in many cases.
So because it's such a dominant car on races with no tire wear, it becomes annoying, as racing in any other car puts you at a big disadvantage (this week being an exception). In Monza a while ago, the RCZ Gr. 4 was even faster than the Veyron Gr. 4!
Another reason why the RCZ gets a lot of hate has to do with how it drives. Sure, it's a rocket ship, but it drives so... bleh. That's the best way I can put it. It's a FWD, so it understeers when accelerating and turning at the same time. It basically feels boring to drive, to some people.

But once you put in tire wear at a medium to high rate for a Daily Race C, it quickly becomes irrelevant, as the RCZ has the worst tire wear in the Gr. 4 class.

From yesterday at Fuji, here's how you can lose Sr and why you need to avoid lower Sr rooms if possible.

This was the first time I'd encountered either car during the races and did nothing to provoke them other than overtaking them.

Yes, easy to agree. But for me the RCZ felt really fun in Laguna Seca, unlike two weeks ago in Lago Maggiore

God the RCZ at Lago was awful. I gained a lot of DR in that race but never had fun driving it. There was an FIA Manu the weekend prior and that track is so much fun in the gr.4 NSX. But no tire wear? FWD for you kid.

EDIT: Another reason to dislike the RCZ - it has literally the same exhaust note as my mum's Toyota Yaris.

I won't and don't do that, if I ever ruin someone's race it's an accident.

I can see why some people will wreck others when the face the above though.

The problem with that is you just get more angry drivers on track which ends up with lots of pushing and revenge for even the most minor of things and all hell breaks loose, usually costing an innocent party, who then goes crazy too. I'd rather avoid all that really.

Youre probably right:) But on the other hand, crime without punishment encourages them to do this all the time... Thats not only my opinion, thats scientific fact:) But as I said in previous post respect for your calm, I wish I had half of your patience:lol:

Yes and penalty system is rubbish which helps nothing. I got punished for one of the contacts with the laggy Russian and the French driver had got away with running me off until they decided to put me in the wall too.

Report does nothing either. :(

This. It becomes an infinite loop and that doesn't help the cause for a cleaner online racing.

Also I feel some people genuinely don't realize what's wrong with their driving style, so there is really no point in wrecking them on purpose.

Yesterday I had this guy dive bomb into the last right hander at Laguna, and I promptly avoided them because these days I always look at my radar and wait. After the race they thanked me for the great race. Yes it was a great race but I could have been punted into oblivion and the outcome would have been different.

What's really working for me these days is I stopped caring about my DR and I drive super conservative. I often stay close behind and wait rather than going for the overtake. A lot of the times people will take each other out or make mistakes trying to shake you off their back.

Then, of course there is Fuji where people are always desperate for some reason so this week is going to be Gran FF Peugeot Turismo Race B for me.

This is interesting, I mean how it works? How many reports player must get to be banned? For example 3 in one race? Or maybe 10 in a day? Anybody knows?

No one knows, not that it matters, no one has been banned in a long time. Once of a time some were though, they were even in game notifications about it.

Only way you can get banned now is through PSN, usually if you send naughty messages.

Jumped in for a B and a C last night, went very differently! Managed two quali laps for the B, and made a bit of a mess of both, so started 13th, got stuck behind an Italian weaving all over the place every time I got a better exit, but eventually got him into T1 on lap 3, and then watched him crash off at the left turn before the corkscrew. Started catching the trio in front of me but didn't have enough time, and only got one of them when they crashed off on the final lap, so finished 11th

Went across to Race C in the Vantage, managed three laps before the race, and was astonished to find myself on pole, a very rare occurrence. Started on mediums, hugged the inside on T1 and made it through. Was a bit nervous and slowed a bit too much through T2, so got a slight bump from the Viper behind, but all was well, and I steadily pulled away from there, pitted on lap 8 which seemed to be about right looking at lap times, and won by about 6s, win no. 11. I'm not really a big fan of Fuji, that last sector is just odd, but it seems to like me!

DR up to an all time high of 17.6k now, and SR still at 99, looking forward to more Fuji this week!!

RCZ is such a crap car to drive, just feels all wrong. Was doing Quali runs using 650s (such a nice car to drive) in about 45 mins best I could do was 1:29. Switched to the rcz, first lap in 1:28 and it wasn’t even a clean lap. Could consistently hit 1:28. Some fun and clean races last evening, not sure what changed this morning was an absolute punt fest. Guys were dive bombing from close a 1sec behind. I usually look at the radar and let the dive bombers have the apex and get them on the cut back if possible, but this morning I had to pretty much park my dirt little rcz at side of the track and I still got punted. Been doing quali runs for race c today. Not sure which car to use for the race. I am able to come pretty close to my best lap I set with the Huracan, with the 911 and the AMG. Not sure what to use?

Have only done one Race B so far, started 4th, got up to 2nd and then punted wide on the left corner after the S and finished 7th. Very annoying.

RCZ is dominant out of the gates but feels a lot better than at Maggiore. Will try some other cars

I'm the same with Fuji. I find it a frustrating circuit with no flow and it feels like you never really get going, but I had 3 or 4 wins on it the last time it came around. Compare that to Dragon Trail Gardens last week when the best result I got was 3rd.

Maybe Fuji will feel better on mediums.

Actually had some decent races today. Of course it hasn't stopped the penalty system doing it's thing but the driver involved in one of them actually waited for me to serve the nonsense penalty and later on beat me fair and square so 👍 to them.

Here's the penalty, they waited for me at the penalty zone, probably should have left that in the video actually.
