3 starts in race c, 3 great races with no bad behavior. On a Monday no less.

If this keeps up it could be a great week.

Maggiore backwards is quite a challenge for me. (Can’t recall ever driving it this way before) The rolling start and a relatively sedate first few turns make it a winner though.Porsche seems competitive, The Vantage is not.

Wow how different it is in C/B, 5 races so far punted and rammed every race. They will push you off even if it means they go of as well. From C/B to D/E in record time, in most races at least a 3rd of the racers quit out. Might do a few more, but more likely will leave the game until next week.
The penalty system is not up to the job, if I brake for a corner and the car behind doesn't bother and hits you off, You should not get a 2 or 3 second penalty, makes no sense. Rewards ramming not racing.
Next race I managed to break away from the pack and had a decent race with another Brit finished 2nd. Gained a decent chunk of SR can imagine its an ok race with the right competition, bit dull though, no strategy really. Should be a no stop I guess, no fuel issues tires ok as only hard compound is available and 7x wear.

"...which of the four front-wheel drive Gr.4 race cars you choose for the race.." can someone confirm the cars we can choose for the Race A this week?

There are only 4 FF Gr.4 cars in the game. 👍
TT, Megane, Scirocco, RCZ
And not only that, they're provided cars, not garage cars. Clicking on race entry gives you the only four options.

I recall the Supra being really handy in races at this track in the past. I think this was my first Daily win... in that car at this track in particular. Might be some cars with a little more pace, but the precise control of this one during races made for a good race car. Not sure if BoP since spring time have changed that.

Had a great afternoon of racing yesterday. Had more than a few friends in just about every race, and a TPC mate @Jwptexas in just almost every one. It was great racing with you yesterday man  and while i messed up more than a few of my own races, by having to be at my limit to try and keep up to you, it was great racing all the way through the field, clean and fair. The couple races i managed to hold on to you were great, especially that last one with @Pigems also.

Back on today for the majority, i hope....

That was some fun racing all week at Brands Hatch! Think I've finally turned the corner at that track. Great racing with you and few of the other TPC drivers as well it's not too often we see each other in the dailies

funny to see how much improvement we can make... I looked at my QT from the March Daily at Maggiore in Gr3... that qualifying time is on the verge of being dropped in my K' Speed Score... it's #52 of 54 times counted in my current score. Meaning I've improved enough that it's soon irrelevant. But it was the site of my first Daily Race win, in that Supra, and my second, that same week. (I think... is there a place to see online where or when my first win was? Doesn't look like it's a Trophy, and I can't see anywhere else that would have recorded when that or any other wins occurred.)

That said, it's not a track that I've been particularly quick at... will be a real test this week, to see if I can hit my Target Time. New brake, corrected FF settings to eliminate the clipping, and tens of thousands of Km practice, hopefully should be able to, but let's find out!

This morning is a great example of why I have an alt account for the dailies. I love the Gr4 Interlagos combo but know it can usually be a huge contact, door banging affair. I've had a lot of fun but also lost 30 SR in 3 races.

I think I'm going to run from the back at Maggiore to try and regain some SR before work.

And is it just me but is Maggiore in reverse just awkward? It doesn't seem to have any of the flow as the normal track direction.

This weeks guide is here :D! Ended up in the barrier in every race... had to redo race B! I even got brake checked, but also got the world record on daily race C (Accidently on the wrong account) but I love the combo far to much! Anyway here's the guide for those interested :D!

Couldn't resist a Gr.4 and GR.2 event. Staying away from Race C and I'm done, until this weekend's Nations Group C at Le Mans.

Started with Race A. No qualy. Another Megane on pole and I'm at the bottom half. Meganes just toasted everything else. Again with my V8 analogy. The car pulls like it has one.
Finished behind the lead Megane by .2seconds. We left everyone else in the dust.

Used all three GT500 '16 cars. Starting with the NSX(no qualy), RC F(missed qualy), GT-R(qualified, but got a mainly C/S, D/S room, C'mon PD).
First two races, I got put in A/S rooms. NSX has the handling, not the speed. I could hold off the RC F behind, but the GT-R pulled away in exit.

RC F is well balanced, but slightly slower than the GT-R.

Set a 47second time in the GT-R, but couldn't judge my speed due to the result below.

As a Super GT fan, Gr 2 Race B is a great mix, wish they will do a Race C with that combo later. Tried out the GTR last night, was slow as a snail with just a little bit of practice, fastest lap was a 49.4. Will try the NSX tonight and rock my AlphaTauri liveries again!

If 49.4 is slow as a snail, where does that put the rest of us who can't quite get below 50???:lol:. I love the Nurburgring GP track so Race B has been the go-to for me and I've just been racing with the GT-R so far. A mix bag I'd say, with some good (grabbed myself 2 wins tonight :D) and some wtf moments. Since the Red Bull Ring and Super formula destroyed my ranking last week, I've been trying to get by SR up but I'm stuck in B/C and B/B lobbies and It's just been so difficult to get out of those so far. The racers in those lobbies are just so reckless :scared:

Race C

You must stop at lap 6. Not later
Or tire wear will kill you
Disagree. Top guys seem to no-stop. I also thought that you have to pit no later than lap 6, but I could keep my race pace pretty consistent when I saw the 2 people ahead of me(3rd) no-stopping.
One stop might be the encouraged way to go, but if everyone's no stopping it's better to do that.

No-stop all depends on your ability to manage the tire wear. I've seen a lot of people try to no-stop only to see their times drop off substantially the last couple laps, if not totally bin it.

It's tough to stay consistent and do that pace all race but this is why I love the track. Never really mastered it, I think the best I could do would be 48.8 or sth like that. Will try tonight!
