Great videos guys! Hilarious ATV action beavis :) Too bad I missed it...

Placing tents: You gotta leave the gear menu up, move around and spam the place tent item while moving around until it takes. If it won't work, change your heading/azimuth a bit maybe 5-10 degrees and try again. The tree trunks/roots get in the way sometimes which are not visible so rotating a little and trying again usually works.

Stig: Ouch, hope you recover soon!

All: We need to decide on our official name very soon. The previous votes were split between Easy Company, InterCorpse and Population Control. Stiggie made a good point the name should be universal for future games we may play beyond zombie, so Easy Company is currently our most popular choice. Please make new suggestions and/or vote within the next couple of days so we can decide on this. Thanks!
 
FYI: ATV flip and on fire video aftermath.

I found an ATV very close to the accident scene, I thought I may have been another players, it was in perfect condition with 1/3 gas left. After watching the video and seeing where exactly KillerB's landing was, I can confirm it was the same exact ATV.

Gear update - What will be given to someone else for delivery to a camp:

*3x Blood bags - I am happy to give someone two blood bags.

*3 or 2 AKM rounds, 1-3 MP5 rounds and one STANAG round.

*Epi-Pen
 
This morning was very nice. Heading towards stary and novy with Ibo and along the way I spotted a crashed heli. First thing I found was night vision ^.^ so I am afraid as hell to log in during the day. Might check out stary on some night servers when I get on after work. I also found another bizon sd so I am happy. Ibo grabbed an FN Fal with night vision. Good luck to the guys still online. :)

I found 2 antibiotics in cherno, but lost them again when my bag disappeared after switching to an alice pack. Fair trade though, if you ask me.
 
Without too many specifics:

Dom's camp, Ghunn found a gold mine from enemy camp in vicinity. I think Dom's camp will be comprised within a day or two. Please log in, the new additions are obvious to take. Including thermals, .50 cals, and a lot others.
 
Hey all, I would like to recruit a couple co-admins to the server to handle special cases when I am not available. I.e. restarting the server if tents don't come back after restart, shutting down server if legit hacker/spawner is detected, etc. Any volunteers? Must be online often and hardcore legit, making sure restarts are only done if absolutely required and confirming proof of hacking, etc. Please PM if interested. Thanks!
 
Hey guys,

I hope to be online within the next couple of days. I keep getting the "driver stopped responding and has recovered." I should have my new gpu by Tuesday and hope that corrects the issue.
 
What a night killed 9 people :lol: and for two I feel a bit of pity, Twintoes, killed him twice, he was begging for his life in direct com.
The last one over voice: "I have nothing", "spare me", booom headshot.

Sorry nobody gave me a chance, so I'm up to 5 murders in this caracter :lol:

Sorry couldn't help you TVR, had to tend to my finger first lol. Hard to type and play, but it's tolerable. Looks like im flipping off the monitor the whole time with my splint on.

Anyway, after reading a bit, i've drafted something about combat maneuvers, formations, patrol, etc (with pics). I'll post it on a later time when it's done. Also haven't started on a revised COC (Code of Conduct) yet - soon hopefully.

@ walker, team leaders, lieutenants, and veterans of this group - If you guys would like to contribute, please post your own draft and we will collectively edit it together :)

As for our new group name... no one else suggesting? So 'Easy Company (EZ)' it is?

jaime I had them but I closed TS before writing them down. I actually feel bad about some of my victims as they were not armed but I got killed 4 times yesterday so I wasn't going to take risks.
I should have taken the last one as hostage, I think it would have worked :lol:, but it ws a split second decision to pop his head

Jaime yesterday we got compromised and so the squad split up to make camps. I got you covered you can come to my location. I got some stuff. I send you the coordinates when you get on TS after work. Though we need to re-relocate to my desired position (the one I was talking about for weeks) and I have an idea for a starting spawn camp that should work. More on TS tonight

@all: the team's tends that got not raided in the future will be the squad main base, we need a plan to how we work on next, because we can't play in group of 2 (defies the purpose of a squad). My group is 4 people (and can grow)
 
Ghuun and I found a cozy spot, despite not having our truck anymore (it got 'sploded). We will check after restart, maybe it reset itself to the last saved position. Despite losing it, we are in a position that is more than capable of supporting survival. (Quick access to a major city and a small outlying down and even a few deer stands).

I may not be going to work today, we will just have to see. If I don't, I'll be on pretty soon. If I do, then I'll be my normal time.

Okay, I am indeed going to work.

It looks like either Ghuun had a great run after I got off last night, or the truck came back, or maybe he just went back up to Dom's Hideout. Either way, we're great where we are. Right after I logged in I decided to go have a look. I saw someone running, they aren't running anymore. =D

I haven't checked yet to see if the truck happens to be where I saved it yet after the normal server restart. I did make a couple runs up to the old hideout to grab some fuel and ammo but a lot of the stuff I was able to stash in the new tents came from another camp, the one we ran into when you where trying to find a spot to hide the truck the first time. I decided to check back in on those and found some goodies and some inland wheels for us to get around on. So yeah had a mixture of a good run and some items from the old hideout, and all while in the cover of darkness. Like a ninja ;)

I would caution any one that heads back to Dom's old hideout, after finding those vehicles and the loot spoils within and another camp not to far out with some heavy gear it's fair to say even had we not found them it's likely we would have run into some of those people on our way in and out of camp.

I think Ido is hitting some points on the head, 2 people tent groups are ok. It brings less traffic into our bases and spreads out our gear to more local's, but a group of 2 people is good for only so much. If we plan on doing any big'ish type raids, I think Team leaders or who ever is in charge of the different groups might want to set up rally points for the members to meet up at. Then from there can set up the groups plan, get there primary mission, secondary mission, group needs, individual needs, ect., set so as to not waste to much time once on location, allowing the group to get in check for items and get out with as little notice from Zed's and other players as possible.

I will try to raid some medical tents and the north west airfield later, but only if the server has either a small amount of players or non. However before I logged off today, my latest night raid wasn't a complete failure.

Here's a combat zeroing guide for the DMR, I read someone else's Arma 2 guide and test fired the DMR at these ranges. For any sniper missions, I would recommend another rifle that can be zeroed. I like the DMR, because it has nice follow through for sustained firing or can be used for well-aimed shots. Also the DMR can work with NVGs, it's an awesome tool for support by fire positions with a decent magazine size. Max effective range is going to be appx 650 for a point target. 800 for an area target.

This is not ballistically perfect, but if you write this down on a note card if you are an avid DMR user, it will serve you well when on a mission.

Thanks for that post Ender. Will help a lot as I practice with my DMR on ArmA II. Need to figure ranges better otherwise I will just waste ammo and give away my position in a tight situation.
