So we might be a month late to this, but @Mrs. Famine and I just returned from a birthday (hers) visit to Deadpool 2.
I'm not totally sure what the critics who suggested they recycled the same jokes were on - there's a single instance of that, and it's done entirely in parody, consisting of five words. We rather enjoyed it, and I did quite like the way that the whole X-Force thing unfolded (take that, comic book nerds speculating on things!) and the unrevealed characters and actors (which I won't reveal), plus a truly majestic X Mansion sight gag.
Watched it again. First time, I found it fresh. Second time, the way it's filmed, it's almost like Guardians of the Galaxy.
When Russell is talking, I'm waiting for him to say, "Rachel Pitkin".
The Vanisher reveal, is the funniest surprise ever.
