Hrm, not from my experience... It's notably hotter in my friend's black Neon than it is in my white one. Notably! One of my college roomates had a black car in Texas. He left it parked one day with a graphing thermometer in it and the windows closed. It hit 170 F on a 100 F day.

okay sorry bout the comment. i should have made clear "start" and by "start" i mean at the very beginning of the race, and what i mean by auto and manual is what else difference could it make instead of pushing down X cuz they didn't use analog buttons.

ok okay i guess not really proof but that guy seems to think the same, i guarantee you it's right, white cars are off faster at the start. (note: this is for gt2, i don't kno if this applies to 3) Go test it!

IRL black cars are so beautiful... any black car or dark color like dark navy blue at night is beautiful when washed... the only problem is you have to keep it that way for it to look nice

Usually I don't get my cars in black. It hides all the detailed parts of the car. But then again, some cars DO look good in black. Like...umm, I forgot. Oh yeah, the NSX Type R.

It's sad to see how most cars are silver now. It used to be a sharp color for a car. Now it's common, almost institutional looking.

Even though black is my favourite colour for most everything, I prefer some of the cars in the game in different colours. As an example I think that the TVR Tuscan looks best in Reflex Purple.

I go for unique colors, a pink Vitz, an orange Celica, a lime-green-two-tone Silvia, a deep purple F688/S...the variety is what I like.

I'm not a big fan of black cars in the game because some cars appear more like dark gray.

To Chris- Yeah I've had daisy lowered (we amputated her legs) and put a spoiler on(we glued on a biscuit tin lid). The only minor setback is that she cannae move!

And to anzdrifter318- Yes I agree. White cars do go faster. Anyone who disagrees is talking a load of daisies. White cars are faster and better handling. By the way, I've been taking extra sarcasm lessons recently, does it show?
