Are you kidding?
I looked, but i couldn't find this.

Hypothesis: Any car can look cooler/faster covered in jet black?

I think so. I believe the clk55 looks better in black than anything else. Does anyone agree?

Black works with just about any car . . . just about any thing for that matter. Black rims are also very fast looking.

It's sad to see how most cars are silver now. It used to be a sharp color for a car. Now it's common, almost institutional looking.

After playing this game for several years, I have come to the conclusion that many cars LOOK good in black. But they are a pain to race in black (if you like the behind car view).
You can't see the car as clearly on the night tracks. For me it makes control a bit more fuzzy for me if I can't see all the corners of the car.

I don't like any cars in black. It hides all the detail like intakes, door handles, etc. I don't like black wheels, either, unless they have a wide polished lip to set them off from the tire.

sorry, but what you see when driving is irrelivant. Does it look better when u look in ur garage? Does it make it look faster? That, my friend, is what we intend to find out.:D

no idiot, at the start, and that's back in my AT days so shifting wasn't a factor
1) Don't call people idiots unless they tuly are. live4speed's comment was not idiotic, and was very probably true.

2) No one had any way to know what you were talking about ("at the start" - where exactly did you mention that?) from your original post, so get off your damn attitude already.

3) If you think that manual/auto shifting is the only difference in driving ability, then by all means continue believing that white cars are faster.

I agree fully. 👍 Part of the fun of the game for me is seeing all of the little details on some of my favorite cars. ;)

You tell em Duke.👍

Thank you Neon, you pretty much covered that so back to topic black cars look nicer in real life than in GT3, depends on the car, tak the Astons for example they are imo best in British racing green by far, the Mecedes cars look good in black and silver, the TS020 GT1 I think would be really cool in black, but you only get it in red.

For sure I love having my Nismo 400R in black rather than the traditional yellow (or whatever other colors there might be) but I wouldn't take any car I'm about to buy in black for that matter.
I think it's a fact all of them look cool in black, some look exceptional however. :)

My thoughts exactly.

I assumed you meant in the game. However, if you mean IRL...
I personally have very little love for black automobiles IRL. Why you ask?
Harder to see at nite
Hotter interiors in the summer (doesn't matter to you? Try ONE summer in Kansas with a black car that has to be parked outdoors)
Pain in the butt to keep the exterior clean.
Shows every fingerprint, speck of dirt/dust.
Shows every imperfection in bodywork if kept "immaculate"
Looks like ****, if not kept clean.

The bottom line is that I don't have time in my life for a car that needs to be washed 3 or 4 times a week.

There, that covers GT2, GT3 and real life. Any criticisms can be taken up with the Rottweiler down the street.

I like every car in black, hell in real life to, my truck is black and while yes its a bastard to keep clean its still looks nice all shined up.

But I rather like black to answer the question

I like black cars in GT3 only. I have a couple. My Renault Clio Race Car looks great in black. I always use black racing wheels, the one with the skinny spokes is my favorite. You can get a better look at the brake rotors heating up with them.

GT3 seems to have a problem with dark images compared with other games. I hope PD will add a contrast, or brightness adjustment in the game because I hate adjusting my CRT HDTV set, which has a poor contrast ratio to begin with, all the time to get better image of darker items.

Games like Madden NFL look awesome, and no adjustment is needed.

I prefer my NSX Type S in the weird chameleon purple (haven't seen a name for it, and no, it's not Boulder Opal; I have one of those too) it is, thank you.:) White cars are useful on night tracks.

allthough my fave. colour for a car (GT and R/L) would have to be silver/metallic grey, 'spose that why the 2 cars ive owned (R/L) have been those colours

yeah, But It's still slow:p
lol ving, but in r/l, would you care? U have a merc, tuned by amg in black, with loooooads of horsepower at your fingertips. FGS man!
By the way, i am talking about black paintjobs in the game not real life4. I was jus goin a bit off topic...
