Thank you Paul, three other concerns please....I tried the track and could not find the county hall clock to drive through or the professor and I'm concerned there might not be any lightening on Wednesday will this cause any problems?
Mike has been planning for this day for a long time and I asked him about when
he first got the idea for the website;
I decided to buy www.October212015.com and built the countdown/time circuits over a weekend and launched on July 1, 2012. I honestly did not think I would go over 25,000 or 30,000, but the number just kept growing. After crossing 40,000, I hoped to make 50,000 by October 21, 2015, and I crossed 50,000 pretty quick. I am approaching 60,000 pretty fast.
These are his thoughts on the trio of Back to the Future films;
I love the one that started it all: Back to the Future. Growing up, I watched over and over the scene in part one where Doc is trying to get Marty back to 1985 (the clock tower scene).
I truly hope Mike gets to reach 100,000 Likes before Wednesday night. It's certainly not
impossible if you go by the current rate of people finding his page
and word of mouth. 👍
I couldn't resist making a replica tune of the original DeLorean from the trilogy.
It's a bit lighter than the GT6 untuned version we will be racing.
I've been looking at the FB page and the likes are almost up
to 62 thousand now.
Toyota USA will apparently be releasing a recently filmed discussion
between Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, the teaser was put on
YouTube six days ago and the full length video is set to be released
tomorrow on the 21st.
How are you ABS guys finding the joys of none-ABS driving? I love it, I feel it brings a whole different dimension to the game (oops, sorry, simulation )
Cheers, Zo. BTW, just had a 40 minute run, and I can't imagine anyone having to pit; tyres at 8.8.8.7. and loads of fuel left.

The whole different dimension is good fun. How many laps did you do in the 40 minutes? I did a run at it the other day & I think I managed 22 laps. The first few laps were a bit ropey though.
Edit: 22 laps must be a mistake, the lap times were between 1:56 & 1:59 so it was probably just 20 or 21.

Tried a quick 15 mins the other night and was surprised that I found it pretty good must try no abs again
I think I completed 20 inside the 40 minutes, and went on to finish the 21st in about 41 mins 21 secs, or there about. However, the car was beaten to hell! For the first five laps or so I repeatedly slid into the barrier to the right between the two left handers about 40 seconds into the lap. Dammit! That's something I'm going to have to avoid in the race, I want to finish with an immaculate Delorean, I gather they're worth a bit on the second hand market.
Glad you and Coke are finding zero ABS fun, I honestly think it does add to the immersion.
I like it, Zo. Can't say I have tried it on that many cars in GT6 but the
DeLorean (with it's relatively weak power of 130 bhp) seems like
a good starting point.
I imagine 500+ bhp would be a completely different story.
I'm trying to put images and videos into spoiler tabs so that it might
become easier for those not browsing through a PC.
If we didn't have a race tomorrow I know where I would have been.
Cinemas throughout the country are showing all three movies back-to-back,
and only on the 21st. A total of 6 hours and 32 minutes for £12 or $18.
I'm cheating though by watching part 2 right now.
There is a DeLorean one hour from where I live according to the department of vehicles.
It hasn't gone through a vehicle inspection since 2001 so it's probably just sitting in
someone's shed or something. I'm thinking of contacting the owner. Maybe she wants
to sell it.
Though I probably won't have enough space for it and not enough cash.

Growing up, I watched over and over the scene in part one where Doc is trying to get Marty back to 1985 (the clock tower scene).
My favorite scene is the intro to the first film, when Marty is turning
on all those speakers.
And also the tandem police cars and the stairs/roof scene in part II.
By the way I will create a poll after the race where we can vote on the
best looking DeLorean. 👍
I really must get around to watching these films. I haven't seen any of them!
Do I get disqualified?
ABS - I dabble with and without it. Once I've set up the brake balance I find it quite good. On a FFB wheel you can feel it going light when they start to lock up and it allows you release the peddle. It can allow you to take more speed into the corners. It also can allow you to go skidng past in a cloud of tyre smoke!
Jocke's right, the power restricted DL is a good car to learn with.
Thank you for hosting tonight Jocke it was a brilliant nights racing, must do it again last week.
Has to be one of the closest intense races I've had in ages with some really close racing throughout, I know there was a few bumps through the race and apologies for that but I think with racing that close it's unavoidable.
Dusty, that was really close at the end almost neck and neck across the line absolutely brilliant. must add it's a shame Zolon couldn't make it hope your ok Zo
Cheers gents
Thanks for hosting a BTTF event on this special day. 👍
When I enter a lobby, no boost is the first criterion I look for, boost is not for me.
I don't think it's bad that you tried it out, it's just not something I enjoy '
