What do you all think will be added? do you think it will be a significant addition? will it be free? new tracks? new cars? a combination of things?

Discuss...

with go kart engines o(^.^)o

Toyota FTII must be in. Also maybe 2012 Nissan GTR. They showed in trailers some mountain track that not in game - hopefully they include it. Also in GT Citroen trailer we saw London track at night...Fingers crossed.

Im hoping for some new premium cars and maybe infineon raceway.

Tracks and new racing series.

Tracks because they appeared on the GT website a long long time ago and racing series because Kaz said they wanted one but ran out of time.

I highly doubt premium cars really wouldn't count on that.

Hmmmm......:trouble:
More tracks (include ALL old tracks no longer in use)
updated car list in dealer showrooms (c'mon, at least 2010/2011 versions :indiff:)
more driving suits
drag strip (dedicated...not some stretch of Tokyo hwy )
proper paint shop
more tuning houses (HAMANN for #1)
saves in enduros
much larger selection of wheels....
more driving suits
start/stop lap times at TGTT
NEW race series (A-spec)
more helmets
500mile Daytona with NASCAR's 👍
more driving suits ;)
oh, leader boards....
expanded muscle car championship...C'mon, 1 race.......@ Monza 👎

Ok, there's lots more too, but I'd settle for enduro saves and maybe some newer model cars. 2010 Ferrari Cali or 599 WITH the option to tune by HAMANN. 👍 👍 👍

One thing I'm hoping for...maybe a more advanced course editor where you can actually draw out the route and customize elevations...maybe even place the track objects.

Looks like you would be better buying Forza 4 than hoping for half of these - since most of these will be in Forza 4.

I respect your opinion but if there is one thing I really do not want to see, it's tuning factories. GT has never allowed you to ruin the look of a car that much, and I just think most of these beefed up versions of expensive cars are incredibly vulgar. I know I wouldn't need to use it, but I would have to see these versions of cars online.
Same goes with the livery editor. As much as I would love to be able to make some of my cars look a bit more like racing cars, I already see all those little kids basically raping my eyes by having lime green metallic Ferraris with big spoilers and Veilside and NOS stickers on it. Just for that I'm ready to pass on a livery editor, I just love cars too much to handle such a thing. Same for the addition of bodykits.

But I'm with you on the gameplay additions, however I doubt the addition of tracks and cars will be free, and rightly so.

Its a Driving / Racing sim

For the most part of Racing liveries are important for sponsor deals and body modifications for aerodynamics and Car enthusiasts personalisation is probably the reason they are so interested and involved in the hobby they love.

Not everyone is going to turn their car into Fast and Furious wannabe street racer.

Or if they want to do that then let them - you cant stop it in real life so why bother in game?

For me its all about having the choice to do so - but i guarantee if it was implemented it would only be for premium cars.... yawn....

I can only hope that Spa will be made available as DLC.

But my fear is that we don't have the same view as PD of what 'new features' mean. They might consider a new batch of paint chips as 'new features'...

You can safely assume that with new features they don't mean more tracks or more cars or otherwise simply "more" of the existing content.
It's "features" as in "options", "modes", or "possibilities".

About the tracks, I think that if they want to implement new tracks, they must be in a Patch or in a free DLC, and not in a DLC that you have to pay to have it. The reason is simple : if only someone buy the DLC, only them can use that tracks online, and I don't think they want to divide players. So there are only two possibilities to me : 1) They implement new tracks in a Patch or in a free DLC; 2) They don't implement any new track in this game. And for some reasons, I'm afraid the second one is the likelier...

I agree with you. Paid DLC would fragment the online community.

Maybe cars will be in a paid DLC, because if you don't buy it you simply can't use that car, like europeans can't use the special Camaro available for americans, but if you talk about tracks, it's not that simple...

This seems like a wishlist. I'll jump right in! :D I would love to see:

-Full modification for standard cars, just like premiums. And a little more RM please.
-The ability to paint stock rims. (Some stock rims look great, like the 458's or the Scud's)
-Advanced course maker. I already love the existing one, but a full CM with options like setting elevations and a completely custom layout would be great.
-More tracks? (Don't everyone?)
-More cars? (Don't everyone? Too?) ;P

Really, when Kaz said new features, I can't think of anything else other than the above. There's a little hope there... :D

Quite frankly, much can be done to GT5 to improve it. Non quicksave endurance and championship saves are an obvious idea, as well as extra race events. Not to mention extra standard to premium cars, and also Premium DLC cars. Also extra RM options, B-Spec fast forward and extra weather changes on tracks. But the most important thing of all that will definitely see this thing become more classic than any other game known must be added...

The Nurburgring taco stand. :D

more GT-Auto features, Standard features (rims etc.) and the Koenigsegg CCX was in a trailer i seen, in photo mode, which is not in the game.. i would love to see some 2011-2013 models in the game as well!!
