DLC in GT5???

I'd like to see all the previous GT tracks that aren't in GT5, including both the SSR11 layouts, plus Yas Marina Circuit, a street circuit in San Fran and Rockingham Motor Speedway (the British one); and the following cars:

I doubt very much new (real life) circuits will happen any time soon, would require each track to be modelled comprehensively and I don't think they are in a position for that at the minute. Now if they could could bring back a few tracks from GT4, that would be an acceptable substitute. 👍

I think DLC is a HUGE Rip-Off by these multimillion dollar corporations to get even more money out of you after you have paid top dollar for a game.

NO DLC for GT5 PLEASE PD!!!

some, not all

Pretty much Kaz said no to DLC back around the time of launch, saying new stuff will go into the next GT. Instead we are getting monthly updates. So, I think that is a better deal anyway, something new each month (actually each week with the seasonal events) vs a few DLC items.

Hmm, Edge/Schick Camaro & Japanese gamers receiving a gift car say otherwise...

I say more DLC for GT5. I'm just still missing some cars and tracks. Who knows? It is not likely with the Japan earthquake and stuff. Just wait a couple months. The new leaked footage contains the F3 engine with some new effects still in the making though. I play both so far Gt still looks better ingame but considering the game is not done yet..:dopey:

I want more events and much more championships.
Where is the Super GT 10 race championship?
Where is the F430 challenge?
Where is a GT1-ish category?
Where is a GT2-ish category?
Where is a GT3-ish category?
Where is the WRC championship?

GT5 lacks of championships and lacks of organization in car classes.

I really hope the will add DLC, Porsche T_T pleaaaase jajajaja well at least is my last hope to see the brand in the game...

But if DLC is not coming at least would be nice to see uptdate where you can choose the IA cars and create championships choosing the tracks weather effects, and the performance of the cars. More full mod to the cars and also add pit stops to the A-spec championships, I can't understand why there is not pit stops in Formula GT championship, Gran Turismo All Stars... etc...

I think in the coming months we will see something new to the game.

Since my thread was closed, this one was pointed to as "related".
So, I would like either:

1. GT4 A-Spec Events DLC
(Should be easy, we practically have all the GT4 cars and some of the tracks, either tweak the events to the tracks we have or include the missing tracks as well)

2. GT3/GT4: Blu-Ray Remastered
(Following in line with other fantastic "remastered editions" of God of War, Sly Collection and the highly anticipated Ico/Shadow of Colossus)

If the keep up with DLC there would be no need for another GT game until the PS4's come out! DLC FTW!

Like i said before, there are things that can not be fixed by updates. GT5 is great, but we definitely need another GT on PS3 before the PS4 comes out.. The are plenty of things that still can be done using the current hardware. So for my part, if i had to pay again for something developped by PD, it can only be a brand new GT6.

And like Peter mentioned, when i voted DLC, i meant FREE updates too.

Shift's DLC announcement is the sort of DLC that PD should be doing. I've said it before but the Japanense idea of iconic cars has ignored a massive amount of historically important european stuff. Japanse cars just don't have the soul regardless of how good they are.

This is why I have a PC with GT Legends, Grand Prix Legends, GTR2 with the Power and the Glory mod and various Rfactor mods. I need my historic fix.

I'm beginning to think PD is kinda clueless about this modern era of gaming. Life's pace is moving too fast for PD. Communication tools are being ignored.

I would love to see some new tracks and cars...plus som customization.

Cars are not that important, but i think they should make more cars premium cars =)

Tracks and more events is the most important thing in my mind, I'm getting done with this game...and would be good if they would put in new things! =D

Endurance is just BS...

Livery editor! one of the most talked-about features but didn't get implemented, shame :indiff: I do hope they include it :D

too few tracks, I want the tracks in GT4 that were not in GT5 to be rendered, especially Citta di Aria :trouble:

Porsche! for goodness' sake.., RUF is not enough, we "need" Posrche! 911 GT3 RS please.., :D although it would be nice if they would include the RUF CTR3.., :)

I was looking forward to seeing the Esso Ultraflo Supra and Eclipse Advan Supra (the black one) GT cars, hope they have it as DLC.., :D

Uhhh do you realise what country the game maker lives in? I thank god every day he didn't include heaps of worthless boring euro cars...

These things are purely a matter of opinion and don't make or break the game.

Exactly, they are too lazy to communicate with fans to improve the game. They make so much money they don't give two ****s for what we think

The game maker himself personally answer's hundreds if not thousands of irrelavant bs tweets all the time, he chooses not to respond to trolls as any respectable person does.

I'd say that isn't lazy, and remember it's THEIR game. NOT YOURS!

They make the game you decide if you like it. It's a simple relationship.

They don't have to make the game you wish for, because your small little brain can't even comprehend the things they have to do to get certain things in the game, or the compromises or choices they have to make..

Not too mention the 6billion people they have to try and please at the same time - Have some perspective

1. Kaz responds to maybe a dozen tweets once a week. MAYBE. not thousands like you said.

2. They HAVE to make the game we wish for because we buy it. duh?

3. Umm I didn't realize GT5 sold 6 billion copies....

1. Dozen tweets x 1 year = 624 = the hundreds of tweets i mentioned. Note the "if not" before thousands.

2. No they don't and they didn't, and you still bought it.

3. No but you do realise there is 6billion people in the world, lets say only 5million people buy GT, how do you cater to 5million people?

When if you ask only 10 people on here what they wanted for GT5/want for GT6 they will give you 10 different answers... Get it? x that by 5 million.

all we ask for is ANYTHING. Sure we get seasonal events added every week but look at other games. Forza got it's first car pack about a month after release. Shift 2 already has a couple of DLC packs and it came out after GT5. What do us GT5 players get? Any new cars or courses? Nope. We get a dozen answered tweets a week, a couple of new seasonal events but no "official" communication and no official DLC

Would you have preferred GT5 left out 10-20 premium cars then charged you $5 for a 3 pack once a month ?

It's been said many times that they included as many cars and as many tracks in the time they had.. Do i have to post the same videos/interviews again?

Once they have enough tracks/cars for a DLC or major update i'm sure you will get it... All forza and shift did was not include a few cars and then charge you for them a couple weeks after release., you don't honestly think shift2 makers have been furiously working the last few weeks to bring you DLC? No, the cars would have been modelled pre-release and then charge you for them later typical EA style.. I wouldn't appreiciate that from GT5 or Polyphony.

I agree with this, EA is like the McDonalds of video games. They sell you something you can play but rehash the formula over and over to keep raking in the money. PD is more of a fine tuned deal the get very detailed over GT, now I agree that PD should release more recent cars in the racing world and not remold/rework old racing cars. The only V8 Supercar in the game is the same one from GT3. I think we all can agree that there will always be grounds for PD to improve this series, but we shouldn't expect them to churn out cars like the two arcade games mentioned. Forza thinks the way to win in the race sim world is by putting out as many games as possible I mean hell they're almost to the same amount of release PD has (GT base games this is not including the prologues and special one offs of GT) just doesn't seem like great logic. I would hope that soon the physics are to those of the PC games which many people rave about but live in a small universe on that section. GT is different because they bring a sim game to a more regular person setting, kids, adults or all ages. Forza and Shift though fun lack the realism that GT has, and PC games have great realism but not the cars (we all don't want to drive a F1 Williams on every track possible most of us like multiple cars to drive). I think the game should get DLC content but not act like EA, but try to be more rfactor like and ask the fans what cars should be produced a every two-three weeks type deal with five cars or less coming out and voted upon by the fans.
