Do polyphony digital make any other games besides the Gran Turismo series?

According to Wikipedia, they also made Omega Boost for the PS1. It is a shoot em up game but I have never heard of it before

They also made Motor Toon Grand Prix (there's a 2nd version for Western countries) and Omega Boost. Both games however are pretty old, and Motor Toon was made under Sony's name before they became a internal company.

Before you know it, Polyphony Digital will make "The Real Flight Simulator" :scared: .

No, they are working on GT6 right now and the PS4 is coming out end of this year/beginning of next year.

Are you sure I thought they where giving PS3 and xbox 10 year lifespans before they make new consoles?

If PS4 was to come out next year, I'd have to sell my PS3 just before it gets released and all my games just to buy it :scared: .

Logic, the PS1 came out in 1994, the PS2 came out in 2000, the PS3 came out in 2006. There are all six years apart so logic would dictate that the PS4 comes out this year

You recon they would make a new one for ps3?

It could be possible, but I don't really think PD will release a sequel anytime soon. They are already planning on GT6. I think TT was an attempt to take a break from four-wheeled transportation :p

For me, the PS3 still has a long way in its lifespan. A lot of developers are plotting a lot of use for the machine, and will last the production for a very long time.

Can I see where you read that? I heard PS4 isn't coming out for a while...

Edit: Nevermind, thanks Elitedreamer.

Yes?

Click the link that Schwartz38 provided you with

1. I did not post that.

2. That link was just about speculation, it provides zero evidence that PS4 is coming out this year.

Big difference between the development in the PS1 and PS2 and the PS3. Sony has said that the PS3 was designed to last a decade. It isn't near being maxed out dev wise and its a really robust media machine. We will see an xbox before we see a PS4. At earliest I'd say you're looking at late 2014.

My general rule is to never trust very specifically titled websites.

👍

Didn't they mention the PS3 would have a 10 year lifespan early on? They're sticking with what they said, so I think we shouldn't expect PS4 to be coming soon. If 10 years isn't literal, I'd give it another 2 years, at the very least, before we start receiving PS4 tech specs and such. That's what I logically hope for, considering the PS2 kept on having customer/developer support after the PS3 released.

I also said earlier, that the PS3 was going to have a 10 year life span?
