According to Wikipedia, they also made Omega Boost for the PS1. It is a shoot em up game but I have never heard of it before

I have very fond memories of that game. The last boss battle was superb.👍 I haven't played Motor Toon Grand Prix though.

By "early on", I meant that Sony Reps might've mentioned the 10 year lifespan a little after (about a year or two) the PS3 released. People were really skeptical about that. Now, it seems even more plausible.

Well the way I see it and have read articles stating the same thing WII U , and a new xbox are CONFIRMED not speculation so to compete in the market Sony's PlayStation4 could be released in late 2012.

They've slowed down in the past FEW years. Last thing they did was "develop" a supercar. It's too bad that no one will ever see it on the streets, again.

Just rumours... if you read the articles in that last link you will see that Sony has no plans for a PS4 release in 2012/2013.

I predict there will be some sort of overlap like with the PS2. There will probably be games made for both PS3 and PS4 like there was modern games available even on PS2 up until recently.

Personally I would rather have the next generation sooner rather than later, tech is moving a lot faster than it did between the PS1-PS2 and PS2-PS3 era's. I reckon the Xbox will drop sooner than we think so Sony better be on its toes.

As for the PS3 not being maxed out yet, well it pretty much has as Naughty Dog did with Uncharted 3. That's the most your ever going to get graphically out of the system.

Logic, the PS1 came out in 1994, the PS2 came out in 2000, the PS3 came out in 2006. There are all six years apart so logic would dictate that the PS4 comes out this year

That doesn't mean that the PS4 will follow suit. Now do I have to remind you about the part of the AUP regarding not posting false material? You can guess when it's coming out all you like but you might want to word it a little differently.

No, they are working on GT6 right now and the PS4 is coming out end of this year/beginning of next year.

I have a source that is close to Sony that has suggested to me that they are also working on a new Gran Turismo Portable for the Vita. We might even start hearing details about this sometime later in the year.

Is that a legit website made by Sony? I wouldn't make a console made of glass if I were the designers, just takes a 10cm drop to put a crack in it. And it will suck really badly to get rid of my PS3. Would have to sell it, all the games and a couple of other things I don't need anymore just to buy it. The PS4 looks very expensive.

EDIT: I have a DFGT, and I just wondered where is the USB cable going to go? It would suck really badly if I had to buy a new steering wheel too.

That is without a doubt, as I reflected on earlier. The biggest argument is just when that overlap will occur

Sony are notorious for their lack of 'true leaked' information. We only heard of Vita 16 months before they released it yet it would have been in pre-production for some time. We have not heard too much in regards to PS4 apart from a "slip of the tongue" in mid 2011. Was that intentional to start the rumour mill going, or was it an accidental 'leak'?

Yes, it has also been mentioned in the same way that it would be undesirable to release PS4 too long after XB720, but it didn't really hurt the PS3 too much when you look at sales vs. release dates either.

How come any thread I open or see that has anything to do with TT2 gets put on lockdown? There is obviously interest from the gt5 community, and they could be very much in common with each other. They could quite possibly even be the same game with a dlc bike pack.
