I just feel like there's no need for new premium cars, or any other updates anymore... They won't fix the game, or make it more fun. I'd rather have PD concentrate on GT6 and deliver a solid game. What do you think?

Erm, of course I want more updates. I don't see why anyone wouldn't.

Until I can get a premium Toyota Supra RZ, the game still needs updates ;-)

There are lots of small things that can be fixed. GT6 is meant to be released on PS3 so it will be a continuation of development to GT5 in a sense. So by updating GT5 they will then be able to bring that forward into GT6.

In the same way though, they will not want to make GT5 perfect as they want GT6 to feel like a bigger jump.

I would like a few tweaks to the game and some more Premium cars, events to keep coming.

I get the feeling updates are going to be few and far between from now on.

DLC will probably show up a few months from now, more than likely in a car pack.

My prediction.

all cars able to get RM'ed... NFS S2U all cars have the "works"

edit: more real damage modeling, how about mechanical in A-spec to

Just when I thought the complaining had stopped!
I'd like updates yes, when Japan/PD are ready. It's the only game I play/own, why would I not want updates!

It is also the only game I own.

Sold my XBox and 14 games for $300 just so I could buy a PS3 for this game.

There's lots of things that need altering/improving on GT5, so updates for these would be nice. I won't go on about them though, i'm starting to sound like a broken record.

waiting a couple of years for GT6 instead of waiting for GT6 a couple of years and getting at least some upgrades, i choose the later one.

*sigh* i think you're out of your mind, of course we need more updates, the game isn't finished until Kaz says its finished, which is not yet.

Guys ,, this game has so much faults
& it'll take alot of time to fix ,, soo insted of fixing the un-perfect game ,, focus on making GT6 a perfect game
& im not complaining

I think PD owe it to themselves and the fans to make the game as good as possible, it will never be perfect I think we can all admit that but until GT6 is on the shelves then I see no reason why updates cannot be forthcoming once the situation in Japan more stable.

Oh boy.....i still do not have my in-race save, and i do not intend on doing the 24h race myself, and leaving the ps3 on several days, i do not have that kind of time on my hands.

Maybe 2-3 updates wouldn't be bad ,, the important things only
But making all cars premium & stuff ,, thats silly :indiff:

I think we can expect a good number of future updates,.

In an article in Evo (UK based performance motoring mag) Kazunori said something to the effect of GT5 continuing to develop and grow post release, he may have even said evolve.....

Found it:

[snip] As Yamauchi said in Madrid, with a glint in his fatigued, scratchy eyes, 'GT will continue to develop and evolve. We have many updates planned. It has become a living creature that will grow and grow.'[snip]

Let the “evolution” of this game peak with more updates. Then blow us away (really) with GT6.

The thing that is odd and bugs me the most is that PD wanted the game to be perfect on release. The game is still far from perfect, so when were they planning on releasing GT5 before the Sony push?

Yes I want updates. They should bring back the seasonal events with lots of credits since I already grinded and got really bored by it. I saw some nice race cars passing by in the UCD but I didn't have the money to buy them, which is a bit frustrating as I probably will not see those cars for a long time..

Than don't play it and let the rest of us who do enjoy it, still enjoy it.:yuck:

GT5 is fine. Make it better/more interesting with more updates. What do you expect from GT6? Don't you think that GT5 pushes PS3 to its limits?

"focus on making GT6 a perfect game "

I'd prefer they focus on making GT6 a game with the game play and features that the GT community wants, i.e., start listening closely to your customers at the start of development rather than as an afterthought once the game is essentially complete.

Most important to me right now is In Race Endurance Saves. The rest I am more than happy with.

Saying that, I am sure there are many updates planned, including events, tracks, cars and much much more.

Your doing a great job PD .... total respect. 👍

More updates please! Give me mid-race and mid-championship save. 24hr races will never get done otherwise. We had mid-championship save in gt4....bring it back please. I also think if they updated to allow us to "SELL" all cars and win (allbeit crappy) prize cars more than once, it would improve gameplay.1000+ cars!...don't really need anymore as i have tons I haven't gotten to yet. :gtpflag:

Actually, yes, we NEED more updates. Because they have yet to add things they said were coming. Still waiting for GT Driver's Club and Matchmaking. Not to mention saving for endurance races.
