Did any of you see the match between Dragon Lee and Axiom? I was pretty impressed at Axiom, despite the fact he lost. He's unique to me because I don't recall any luchadore-type wrestlers from Spain. In fact, I don't think I know of many wrestlers from Spain. Both Dragon Lee and Axiom are some solid luchadore-type talent.

Becky Lynch is the fourth member of team Bianca for War Games.

Carlito v Santos Escobar has also been made for the show, five matches on the card now so they could have another one but two War Games matches will take up a lot of the time.

Congratulations for the new World of Stardom Champion....VACANT

Note to self to work out his new major title count

Been hearing all day that a major star is set to return to WWE at Raw tonight, and that star is Mr Randall Keith Orton.

The apex predator was announced as the 5th member of team Cody but he wasn't actually on the show.

I think Judgement Day is defending the Tag Titles Friday, so I'm expecting both teams getting in a scuff and Randy finally coming out.

We didn't actually see Randy or hear Cody say his name, but Cody did use word like Legacy, Apex Predator and hear voices in our heads, crowd went nuts in the hope they would see him but it didn't happen.

Drew gave a great heel promo at the start of the show that was full of rage and passion, he is going to be a great heel and he later won the advantage for his team on Saturday by beating Jey Uso in the main event, there is a fan vote for the team advantage for the women's war games match strangely.

Here is the card for WWE Survivor Series War Games tonight.

Dragon Lee v Santos Escobar

Women's World Championship.
Rhea Ripley (c) v Zoey Stark

Intercontinental Championship.
Gunther (c) v The Miz

Women's War Games Match.
Damage CTRL v Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Shotzi & Charlotte Flair.

Men's War Games Match.
Judgment Day v Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Seth 'Freakin' Rollins & Randy Orton.

Dragon Lee has replaced the injured Carlito for tonight's match with Escobar. Lee v Escobar should be good though.

Last night was about how Becky and Charlotte cant co-exist for their war games match. The stage and entrance way is smaller than they usually have it, its so they could sell more tickets because of the demand in Chicago. no CM Punk or Randy Orton last night but of course there were the usual CM Punk chants.

This has all hype but zero hope for long term benefits.

Who's to say what happened before, will happen again?

Just seen the show, I'll get to the elephant in the room in a bit.

Really enjoyed the show overall, both War Games were great with both heel factions getting their comeuppance against the people that they have taken out, nice moment between Charlotte and Becky during the women's games match. Its so good to see Randy back, this is a guy who was told he could never wrestle again earlier this year and missed a year-and-a-half, he came back and looked ripped and happy to be back, its a nice story.

The other three matches were kind of whatever, Gunther v Miz was definitely the best of the three as Miz gave Gunther a fight he wasn't expecting, Dragon Lee v Escobar was good but it was just there, Ripley retained her title in just eight minutes, Stark did get some offense in but ultimately Rhea got the expected win as they continue to build her as this unstoppable dominant force.

And now to CM Punk, ughh I don't know.... I've got mixed feelings at best, he is of course very divisive and toxic, but he is also a draw and 2014 was a long time ago, almost a decade in fact, maybe times have changed, I think WWE certainly has. From what I heard they only reached a deal with him for his return yesterday morning and it was only backstage news during the actual show itself, apparently creative didn't know about it so they aren't happy, you may have heard about Seth Rollins losing it and had to be separated from Punk backstage but I have heard conflicting reports that it was a work relating to an earlier interview that in which Rollins called Punk a cancer. I'm willing to give this time but I am also fearful.

Drew McIntyre walked right out of the arena straight after his war games match, apparently this had nothing to do with Punk and more to do with his own situation at the company, they are still in contract negotiations with him, he is not happy.

Both Punk and Orton will be on Raw in Nashville tomorrow, also welcome back R-Truth!

Problem with Punk isnt about 2014, most agree the fault was WWE and Vince there.

The concern is his stint in AEW, he was welcomed with open arms and a brilliant segment but as we know, it came crashing down when Punk was playing backstage politics and using his power as a draw to get what he wants in spite of everyone else.

I'm sure the thing with Seth Rollins was a work but even if it wasn't Seth is willing to work with people he doesn't like and put on a good show like he has done with Riddle, the question would be if Seth gets on Punks bad side, would Punk return the favour?

I was a huge fan of Punk until his AEW run gave me too much TNA Hulk Hogan flashbacks (ironic how fans eat it up though despite universal agreement Hulk Hogan was the start of TNAs downfsll)

There was a Raw live event in Peoria Illinois last night during which Seth Rollins took the mic and said that he wouldn't waste is breath on someone who left eight years ago and has tried to burn the company down ever since.

Yeah its definitely a work, but Rollins v Punk at the Royal Rumble for the title could be spicy!

Funny how CM Punks return promo at AEW could feel so emotional, like it was from the heart but after what occured, his promo in Raw feels like the biggest load of 🤬

Ironically, funny segment

It'll be interesting to see how well the promo ages in a couple months when he stops getting things exactly the way he wants them and starts causing trouble backstage. If it even takes that long.

They kept Rollins and Punk apart last night and I think that will be the case for the next few weeks at least, they both referenced each other in their promos. There were CM Punk chants during Seth's promo and he said he wouldn't waste his breath talking about that hypocrite, Punk mentioned that everyone backstage has welcomed him back apart from a few but he said that was because they were afraid that the best in the world is back. Rollins reaction to Punk's return on Saturday was most definitely a work.

Rollins will defend his title against Jey Uso next week, Orton had a pretty standard return with an opening promo and main event match against Dominik, Orton will be on Smackdown too, as will Logan Paul.

The Creed Bros won a really good tag team turmoil match to be number one contenders for the tag titles, Chelsea Green & Piper Niven defended their tag titles against Natalya and Nox.

Smackdown tonight.

Randy Orton.
Logan Paul
Grayson Waller v Kevin Owens
Cody Rhodes v Dominik Mysterio
Fall out from War Games

No idea why there is a match with two Raw guys...

No idea about Cody Rhodes but Dominik Mysterio is a part of Judgment Day which are Tag Team Champions

I can only think that they really ran out of stuff for Smackdown guys to do since their singles titles are both held by part timers

Randy Orton is officially on Smackdown, it was a fun segment at the end with both Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce trying to get Orton's signature. Heyman, Solo and Jimmy got involved and Orton RKO'ed Jimmy...and then Nick! Pearce tried to offer Orton the winner of Rollins-Jey Uso title match on Raw but Aldis offered the Bloodline on a plate, and it was the Bloodline who took Orton out for 18 months.

Logan Paul announced that there is a tournament starting next week to determine his first challenger for the US title, its an eight-man field and its pretty strong with Austin Theory, Dragon Lee, Bobby Lashley, Karrion Kross, Kevin Owens, Santos Escobar, Grayson Waller and an NXT competitor taking part, that NXT call up has to be Carmelo Hayes, he has been deserving of a call up for so long!

Not a huge amount else happened last night, main event match was Bianca Belair v Kairi Sane, next week is Tribute To The Troops Smackdown, and CM Punk will be there.

I fear Orton returning to Smackdown. It makes sense, going after the Bloodline but he really is just going to end up as food and stuck in limbo afterwards.

Look how much LA Knight has died off. Didn't matter how strong you could make him in defeat, screaming at Jimmy Uso isn't going to cut it (I hate being right on stuff like this, but I was right). Smackdown is absolutely the worst brand to be on right now for a male wrestler. Ive only really cared about the Damage CTRL stuff on Smackdown and how Bayley is losing control of it.

It kinda depressing. I usually prefer Smackdown during the brand splits. From the first brand split as well as 2016 and 2018 (we don't talk about 2017 WWE in general). Smackdown has been more enjoyable to pay attention too as it was easier to invest in the moving pieces at play, even if WWE kept trying to take away Smackdowns good stuff to put on Raw, Smackdown kept climbing back up.

Its now a 180 and Im far more intrigued in what happens in Raw and outside the Womens division, Smackdown is just as bad as 2022 WWE though I guess that makes sense as its literally just the same problem only this time Raw isnt affected by it

Just looked Metacarpal up and it is a real thing and not something that WWE have made up like they sometimes do.

Looks like its a legit injury.

Advertised stuff for Raw tonight.

Seth Rollins v Jey Uso for the World title.
Sami Zayn v Drew McIntyre
DIY v Imperium-2 out of 3 falls match
Cody Rhodes responds to last weeks attack from Nakamura
Nia Jax v Shayna Baszler
The Creed Bros v Dominik & JD McDonagh
Natalya & Tegan Nox v Kayden Carter & Katana Chance

There was an incident at a live show last night, a fan jumped the guard rail and tried to get to Grayson Waller, he was removed by security and escorted out of the building.
