My plan for this weekend (when I'm not doing uni work) is to update some of the 400PP CS cars into competitive SH Tyre cars for this weeks (and future) seasonal races. It is something I have been meaning to do for a while as they would come in handy for online races when I get the chance to do those again. Some nice little cars coming up. I also want to finalise my Pro Touring Car for the FITT competition so that tune may be forth coming too.

Hey there folks. Two things of interest for my reviewers and fellow tuners alike.

@Bowtie-muscle is in charge of this months FITT British Invasion challenge. It would be great for others to tune for this challenge and if you don't feel confident at tuning, you could always give testing a go. We can never get enough testers.

The new Car of the Month is out as well. This month it is the Maserati Gran Turismo S '08 - Again, submitted tunes would be great. As would anyone who is willing to give a review on tunes published in the thread.

Indeed, I concur. This tune works really well on the new seasonal. A lot better than I expected it too. You got a very similar best lap time to myself. I even rolled it on the last lap and still won.. Not a bad car at all.

Just won the beginner level compact car challenge ( current seasonal races) using this tune. One of the cleanest races that I have ever played. With more than enough power & handling to get past/avoid ai cars that got too close or tried bump into me. thanks again.

.304 is what it took to beat the ai cars in the intermediate level night track challenge in the new seasonal races. late braking & some sliding past cars to get to the top spot & beat the gallardo lp-560-4 '08 in the final straightaway to the line. used the special 500pp SS edition of this tune & had to set power limiter to 54.2% to get in the race. Another win for Exter GT tuning setups. It was close & bounced off a car to get the gold. Thanks, mate.

.357 beat a Enzo Ferrari '02 that was mean, nasty & blocked me from the #1 spot until it took a turn too fast & went off road for a bit. Got me in the side door on his exit. No worries, I have a lot of 400PP cars, CS tyres through to SH tyres which are more than capable of winning this race cleanly. A very good money spinner.

The F458 is an amazing car, even at half power, it is still epic and that makes these seasons very easy and fun to compete in. I really enjoyed the Ferrari seasonal, Ascari is an amazing track too. Thanks for letting me know which cars you got gold with.

Yes, the two new SH tunes are seriously easy wins. Very easy to drive around the AI without losing too much time. It is just as easy (and probably more fun) with the original versions which were tuned on CS tyres. Those cars are a little looser in the rear and are like big go karts around Tsukuba (is that spelt right??).

Hm. When I log on to the PS3, I shall look into this, double check that everything is present and correct. 494PP should be enough to win with though for now. as long as you have the right suspension settings and LSD inputs.

The V6s are really good in this game, have pretty solid chassis which means they are a balanced car. 400PP version should be very good, even if you detune it to meet the PP requirements. I have a slight headache from uni work so I am having a break and trying to tune up a Pagani Huayra '11 GT3 car. Fun times.
