A Spec Seasonal Races (Updated 30/10/14)

Car:

Ferrari California ‘08 (550PP SS) P95 +2841

Expert Level Ferrari Challenge Ascari Winner! 👍

Easy win and as always boring... :grumpy: Will try 1 or 2 cars more (maybe the Enzo tune, Shaun...) The only funny thing was that the Enzo driver seemed quite angry by being passed by a Califórnia, so decided to start ramming me several times...

Ascari Full Track.jpg Ascari Full Track_1.jpg Ascari Full Track_2.jpg
Also he activated some kind of secret setup that allowed him NOT to use the brakes... and hit me...

Gold done and finished! Will focus mainly on your 400PP tunes, have almost no cars at this level...

Great tune!

Car:

Audi TTS Coupe '09 (500PP SH) P1 +20

Intermediate Level Night Track Challenge SS5 Sports Hard Winner! 👍

Super easy win with SH, guess with SS it's even easier... 👍

This car is slidey but very controllable. The back end is a little looser than most 458 tunes I have tried, but it works well on DS3. This car is not great on tyre wear (such as willow springs 20 miles) but on super car festival, tuned car festival etc it is a real blast. This car really loves to eat up the corners.

This is a Mark 1 tune for me. Once I have more time in the future to get a better tyre wear version done, ill do that as mark 2. For now, I am happy with the results of this tune.

To not get bored, try to win at Ascari with a 450 PP SH car or, if you can't, try a 500 PP SH, then. 👍

👍 Just finished with Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto CN.2521 '61 (450PP SH)... Now that was fun... :D
I just completed my three golds. Lotus Elise '96 for the 400PP SH (with CS tyres), Ferrari 458 Italia '09 (500PP and 550PP SS versions) for the other two races. That enzo stuck to me like a bad smell but I didn't lose the lead once I got half way past lap 3 in the race. That car is epic around Ascari. A little slidy at times but that helps with rotation on the tight corners. :)

Are you refering to the Enzo, right? It's maybe the only tune i'll try later... :)
I didn't use the Enzo, but I shall give it a go later myself probably. I was in the 458 Italia (one day I will own that car in real life...) The Enzo that was shadowing me all the way around did use its brakes though surprisingly.. I expected worse from what you guys said :)

Edit: Best lap I got was a 2.12.xxx Not bad for a slow(ish) driver.. :)

Notes to testers - This car may feel a little static at first, give the car 1 or 2 laps to get everything into its working range, then drive this thing as the car wants. It will give you signs of what it likes and doesn't like. I have found this car impossible to spin and it will like you if you go with slower in, faster out. The grip is going to be there as long as you've not cooked your entry into a corner. Enjoy :)

I am not sure if this car had an oil change or not. When setting up this car:
Add power parts first, weight reduction and additional ballast next and check that the PP matches what is stated for this tune. If it is incorrect, change oil otherwise leave it as it is.

Has anyone tried this tune at Ascari? I really want to spend the 1.25mil on it, but don't have much of a use for it elsewhere if it isn't competitive and don't want to waste the credits

Did you not get this car free when you completed Sierra Ferrari Challenge? I guess I am assuming you have already done this challenge, if not, the car is definitely worth the credits. It sounds like thunder and goes as smooth as silk. :)

I haven't tried this car at Ascari but I am sure that someone will very soon. If I get chance, ill give it a go but it worked well on other tracks that it has been tested on.

That Enzo really likes to dig it's face deep into ones tailpipe.

Been trying out different tunes on this "pasta rocket" event.. First car i tried was your 458 tune, it cornered like @Pete05 once said,"A cat on carpet". Best lap: 2:08.022

Then i went for your F430. A nice tune yet again. Won with ease.

Then i remembered i had a Scuderia with a Mr Praiano tune on it. Took it out for a spin... Oh boy... consistent 2:07's and a 21sec lead on that Enzo when the checkered flag dropped..

After that run i decided to try and tame the F40... An interesting couple of runs in that car. It is a wild one to say the least... One better be careful with the throttle or it will bite your head clean off.

Gonna have me a blast with this event since i've come to enjoy these fiesty pasta rockets..

Nice to see you are coming around to these fabulous machines. I tried to tame the F40. I didn't quite succeed but it made for an interesting drive.
