Do you guys recommend buying the CS Tuning Kit with everything else to save on shipping or hold off until I get used to the pedals first?

I can't recommend it but I have one on order with a wireless dongle. I want as stiff a clutch as possible to simulate the race cars I've driven on track days, and like the thought of being able to tinker with the brake and accelerator too.
 
I decided against re-ordering the shifters as most of the driving I'll do will be with the paddles anyways. I'll wait for the CSS to be released this year ; )
 
@ Booey: Thanks for the suggestion. How does the wheelstand pro work with clubsport pedals? Or will they even fit? Thats my only concern there.

I can't say for sure yet but from my research online I believe there will need to be some small mods made to the pedal mount on the WSP to fit the CSP. I think just some sort of flat surface for the legs of the CSP to sit on comfortably.
 
Concerning Fanatec support:
Yesterday I wrote an email to the german support. Got answer this mornig. Wrote some more emails during the day and they all were answered within in hour or so. Canceling an order etc was no problem.
Thomas also wrote me here via pn.
So german support works really good so far. Now I'm hoping the quality is as good as the reviews tell us.

Can't wait to hold my first wheel in hands :)

Thomas, I canceled my order for the standard pedals and wheel stand and instead ordered the Clubsport pedals. Claudia's response was quick and I already received an invoice and shipment confirmation email. I am just waiting on the UPS tracking email, which I am sure will come within the next day or two.

Kudos to your folks for their quick follow up, despite the workload. Thank you!!!

I ordered the GT3 CE. Is all in stock? Can you say when it will be available or will be sent? I ordered 4 days ago and still got no answer when they will be shipped...

I´m from germany.

Makes one wonder exactly what kind of shiw they run then.

I kept my mouth shut for a while about my CSP order that has been paid yet is still just "pending" since last year - now all these orders placed AFTER mine are getting shipped.

Fanatec really is a poor company to deal with - only those who suckup and pander to them seem to get ANY response to their paid orders.

WTF Thomas?

When will GT3 RS v2 Clubsport Packages be shipping to Canada?
When I ordered the site said late December, I emailed Fanatec a couple days ago, and got a message from Claudia saying later January.

I'm hoping she read what I wrote wrong and is talking about GT2 shipping date.
Any estimates on when my wheel will actually ship? I ordered in November before the GT2 was even announced. And since then my DFGT broke and I am wheel-less.

So date on GT3 RS v2 Clubsport Package shipping?
Also, I want to add the long shifter cable to my order, should I email Claudia back or order it and add a note asking for it to be thrown in the box with my wheel.

I ordered the CS package and a stand + clamp in early December. I plan on waiting. This may seem like a dumb question but you do have some unconventional shipping policies. Do you set aside the ordered quantity of CSPs and GT2 wheels while you wait for the shifters? Is it possible you sell out wheels and pedals before the shifters arrive and then are unable to fulfill previous and existing CS package orders? Seeing your recommendations to others to order wheel and CSP separately concerns me if there is a limited supply. Like I said, I am willing to wait for the full package but I will have little patience if this is extended past "end of January".

phate, hold on to your order for now. Me and a few others in this topic just ordered seperate and can tell you how fast it ships. I wouldn't go just yet in case ours don't ship.
 
I ordered a 911 GT2 wheel, as well as some other accessories on Dec 21. It is disheartening to see everyone else place their orders and have their wheels shipped immediately when my wheel hasn't been shipped despite my placing the order two weeks ago.

I described in DETAIL in an email to your technical guy. In DETAIL. The problems are with the wheel. Youhavent even delivered the pedals yet. :grumpy:

With all due respect - I HAVE told you and your technical folks a number of times about the issue and it wouldnt take a rocket scientist to put 2 and 2 together.

I have complaibed - pedals ordered and paid for yet no delivery. That is the beef about the pedals. You are asking other folks who ordered the Clunsport set to break up their order to expedite th eshipping of the pedals yet you have customers who DID break up the order and you havent delivered those yet.

Phate...I wouldn't do anything quite yet. I was expecting to wake up this morning to a "shipped" status seeing as though the GT2 and CSP's are supposed to be in stock, and I'm still "pending". Spyders the only one who's status has changed and I believe the rest of us are still "pending".

Is there any word on a ship date for those that ordered the Clubsport package yet? Or are we still better off canceling and reordering separately? I'm getting tempted to get one of the old MS wheels off ebay just so I can play Forza again.

Fanatec, sorry for hounding you with so many questions, but you mentioned that we can order the GT2 and CSP seperately and they will ship immediately.

A few of us ordered it when you posted that, can you tell us an expected ship date for those orders?

The number 1 complaint about Fanatec for the lsat 3 years has been CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Dont you get it? It is almost as if the you take pride in the arrogance of mistreating people who have PAID you money.

Just ship the damn product that you have.

very good question. I thought the whole point of pre-ordering was a way of being first in line :confused:

You've acted like a total arse, so the best thing for you and Fanatec is that you get a full refund and buy a different set up, what's hard to understand about that?

Perhaps in future disputes you'll opt to use a little decorum, you'll find it's more likely to get you the desired outcome.

its hard to understand why you would still want it. must say a lot for Fanatec products that youre still interested in receiving. just take the refund that was offered to you and buy a G27 or T500RS. no?
