I've picked early for this one. Considering my complete collapse on the leaderboard last race (1st to 11th :ouch:), I figure I can't go any worse picking the drivers I have picked.

Picks are in. Took a gamble, let's see if it pays off. :nervous:

I did too... sort of

I also hate the consecutive picks thing. Honestly I think it makes it easier than it should be.

Looks like my picks aren't so great. Stewart is doing the best, Montoya is so-so, and Smith looks to be battling an ill-handling car and hanging out in the back. :(

Congrats to Cale for scoring the most points with 112.

Standings moved a good amount again, not sure if it's good or bad.

Next up is Martinsville.

I can see your point, but they also make it so you have to use strategy when it comes to using them.

Well it's ok. I might as well make sure I have 10 for the chase. :P

Horrible for me. Was looking great early with my drivers 1-2-3 in the beginning.

Congrats to R1600Turbo for scoring the most points.

Next up is Texas.

I'm in. Starting kinda late but hopefully I can make up some points

Yeah, it's too bad you can't enter with either
A: The current lowest points position
B: Minimum points earner per week, for each week missed.

Example A: You'd enter 218 points, as that's the current lowest point value on the leader board. Possibly 80-90% of this, if people felt even number was unfair.

Example B: The minimum points per week is 15, as all positions beyond 10th only reward 5 points. Since you've missed the first 7 weeks 7*15 = 105 Points.

That way you're more likely to be competitive and to keep trying each week.
Just some thoughts from another who started late.

Never even thought of doing that.

I would have no problem implementing it(would probably go with B) as long as nobody has any issues with it. It also wouldn't be retroactive.

I don't see why not. All of the data is within the 'previous standings' page, making it take no more than 5 minutes to calculate it out.

Week 7 = 16ppl
Week 6 = 16ppl
Week 5 = 16ppl
Week 4 = 16ppl
Week 3 = 14ppl (Adrenaline & Chances14) 45 points each
Week 2 = 11ppl (killerride & adam46) 30 points each
Week 1 = 8ppl (Ian Poole, TS & Mrmulsanne) 15 points each

1 - TS - 455 (440+15)
2 - 5 remain the same
6 - adam46 - 379 (349+30)
7 - XRFalcon - 360
8 - Cale - 357
9 - MustangRyan - 330
9 - Killer Ride - 330 (300+30)
11 - MrMulsanne - 326 (311+15)
12 - Chances14 - 322 (277+45)
13 - Adrenaline - 292 (247+45)
14 - Ian Poole - 273 (258+15)
15 - Justin - 267
16 - LSX - 218

It's not a math issue.:P

Like I said, I have no problem with it as long as nobody has an issue with it.

How the hell can I be leading the points when i've missed half the races this season?

TS

Well, one of them has won 2 straight races and the other is Jimmie Johnson.

The correct answer is that you've only actually missed 1 race.
When you skip a week, your previous weeks picks are used.
