Fastest Speed You've Reached in GT5

Without glitching, (or if you did glitch, how?) how fast have you gone in GT5?

While grinding Indy with the X2010, I was able to reach 303 mph with a pretty good draft.

How fast has everybody else gone?

I dont consider the X1 really a car so ill go with the next quickest... Under the cars own power... 246 mph down the Mulsanne with the C9.. With drafting.. 258 mph in the R92

Ah yes, but did I say how fast have you brought your CAR up to on GT5?
I just made a bet with one of my friends that he couldn't reach 310 mph without glitching.
He claims he did.
I think he's lying.
Hence why I posted this.
Not trying to start an argument.

I can reach 311MPH (hitting the limiter) in an X2010 whilst in a 2nd draft down the long straight on "Like The Wind"

2nd draft meaning, once I have drafted one (or bunch) of cars, then drafting a 2nd car (or bunch) of cars to get even more speed..

I hit 267 several times in the draft in my FGT during the Indy 500. The FGT isn't a 'real' car but I consider it more practical than the X2010 (I know the OP didnt specify real or not but I dont even have an X2010 anyway). Maybe someday we'll be able to hit 600 or 700 with rocket cars at Bonneville. I remember in GT3, with an Escudo and the proper tune, there was a glitch that allowed you to hit 730 or so on the big test track.

Yup, I saw 310mph on that race with the X2010. The R92 got me 265mph on a "double draft" as well.

how do you guys get those speeds on the x2010? With the longest gearsettings i hit the revlimiter at 493kmh(308mhp). Thats drafting on daytona.

I did 310 mph (499 km/h) in my Red Bull X2010 S.Vettel while drafting on Special Stage Route 7. It lasted for a fraction of a second before I dropped back down to 302 mph.

I've only driven the S. Vettel X2010, and mine has no adjustability of gears at all. Are others able to have adjustable gears?

You can adjust the gears on the X2010 Prototype that's for sure. I'm not sure about the regular X2010 though. Even with the top speed maxed out for the Prototype it is still a tiny bit slower than an S.Vettel.

You can't go faster, it will hit the limiter. Maybe I've seen 503kmh.

Other X1 versions hit the limiter like 8Kmh earlier for a 494Kmh top speed.

507 km/hr drafting on indy for maybe 1/2 a second before it hit the limiter and back down to 503. Which is about 315 MPH or so?

In the S.Vettel that is. The others barely are able to hit 500 at all.
