Yeah think the 2007 is a classic because it won both the drivers and constructors championship and was near the peak of a set of fairly consistent regulations. Also Raikkonen was a more likeable driver, Alonso sucks. The f10 was still a decent car though.

What one is faster? You would need to compare the 2007 track times to the 2010 of both cars.

F2007 is faster. About 7 seconds faster on Suzuka. I run 1:30's and am lucky to get a 1:40 fighting my ass off in the F10.

Off topic, but would an owner of a F10 give me the defaults in the fully customized suspension for that car? I am comparing the defaults against other formula type cars working on a tuning equation and curious to know if it differs from the others in any way.

I have the FGT, F2007, and X1. F2007 is great driving car, but I haven't had the funds to pick up the F10 yet.

Not sure but I prefer the F10.

F2007 is faster on fast tracks, F10 is faster on slower tracks. F10 also has an annoying habit of bottoming out on bumpy circuits.

I drove the F10 and the F2007 back to back in the last race of the Ferrari Seasonal, and found the F2007 much more enjoyable to drive. The F10 just shakes and jitters (both my wheel and the tv screen) when it bottoms out. the F2007 was much smoother.

Having both, I also drove the F2010 and F2007 back to back on the F1 seasonal events, and the F2007 provided more joy for me. The F2010 is almost like a heavier poorer handling version of the F2007, although I prefer the physical looks of the F2010 over the F2007. If I can have only one, it would definitely be the F2007.

I have both, and the F10 is just too unstable for my liking, it is too nervous if you know what i mean. I do use the F2007 more as it suits me better.

I have taken both round the TGTT and the F2007 was 52 something I think, and the F10 I got bored of before I set a time :P

The F2007 grips better than the F10 on some corners. Drive both on Superspeedway Daytona and you'll see what I mean. I was driving these on someone's Toscana track the other day and I found that there were some turns on which I had to maintain speed with in the F10, while the F2007 can blow right through them. They have the same downforce in the game which is MUCH more than the FGT so the FGT corners slower than all other F1 cars. The FGT also oversteers the most.

The F2007 is better. With the downforce set to max, it will still achieve higher speeds than the F10 with default downforce. Faster through the corners, faster on the straights.

As a few have said the f2007 feels smoother, that being said i consistently run about a second faster a lap in the f2010.

F2010 needs 4 more seconds to do this:

The 2007 is much, much faster.

F1 banned all sorts of aerodynamic aids in 2009, so the F2007 has much more downforce than the F10.

They're both 150/200 in GT5, downforce is the same [probably].

I've never seem much difference between the two, in F1 races, I tend to do as well with either car. Maybe I'm not pushing them hard enough though.

I'm kind of regretting my impatience in buying the F10. :ouch: I've read a lot of posts on here saying that the F2007 is better... If it is better, how so?

F10 was subject to more regulations regarding aerodynamics and engine size. Also, the regenerative braking system apparently made the car worse off. Look at each car's respective description. Add me and you can borrow my F2007 for some testing :D

The F2007 feels more nimble. Having both, the F2010 feels heavier or slower to respond. Hard to explain. I prefer the looks of the F2010 though, especially those sexy tires.

I find the f10 to handle better and have better acceleration but with the f2007 i find the top speed to be higher

I believe both cars are great and it really doesn't matter what car you get. In saying that I do believe that the F2007 is faster due to less restrictions.

I agree mostly, but I'd say "different" restrictions rather than "less" restrictions. Every year the formula is as restrictive as ever... but the 2007 rules were considerably different from those in 2010.

The F658 was the last Ferrari F1 car that was allowed to use TCS and was a real beast - and that's why it won the championship.

The F10 is prettier and more tail happy but just isn't as fast as the F658.

Ferrari F2007 is faster than you [F10]. Can you please confirm you understood that message.
Heaps more aero. Heaps more power. Wider front tires. Covered wheels. Actually won the Championship for driver and manufacture in 2007 unlike Alonso and Massa who are incompetent fools who can't pass juniors in Renaults.
