I wish I had not entered the Manufacturers race.

My (several-months-continuous) SR of 99 has been slashed by half to 47. I received about 4 of those 3 second penalties for someone contacting a wall on their own. Effing disaster.

I ran briefly in 8th but dealing with the penalty zones dropped me to 13th by the end. Lost 1000 DR to go with my SR bleed-out.

Edit - LOLOLOLOL - went into a daily C to try and rebuild my SR, competely clean race, finished 4th and got SR up by 7. Entered one more, disqualified by the end of lap 1 when I got squeezed into a wall.

I've no idea how the Nissan boys got a win in the World Tour event last week at Tokyo. I know the conditions aren't the same, but it's so bad on its front tyres that finishing a lap on one of these tracks is a complete lottery.

Ok, so apparently a lot of fast people already got disconnected from top and 2nd split in EU, 1st Nations race. This season is not even a championship, it's a tombola.

13th to 7th in Spain. 6th (who had the fastest lap) went off in front of me in the middle of lap 10 and I caught right up, but the combination of pink chrome paint, fluorescent yellow wheels, the 2FAST4U licence plate and the Spanish flag put me off making a move. 609 points, quite happy tbh.

Pro-tip: The braking point for the first corner on this track is the flag box on the left hand side. I had to put in two sends to avoid ploughing people off the road.

What a farce. Even more embarrassing than when they accidentally started the last exhibition season a day early.

In Paris we were told the current plan (and PDs plans change LOTS) is to have this exhibition determine Nürburgring

Manufacturers at Tokyo was a nightmare, the room was full of B/S rated drivers, BS was really apt.
Qualified P7 in the Ferrari which was better than expected, but once the race started 🤬🤬🤬.
First time through the chicane of death with a car directly in front of me, '3' cars behind me try to outbrake the laws of physics and I end up in the barrier with a penalty, a couple of laps later a car serving a penalty on the racing line unghosts right in front of me, (I'm sure he swerved at me deliberately), he ends up in the wall and I get another penalty, and it just went on and on . . .
It wasn't pretty, SR -20 and DR -1400, finished 18th.
I should have gone for a colonoscopy instead 🤬

Qualified 3rd and finished 3rd even with a couple of penalties for touching the wall.

I pretty much screwed myself for the whole Manufacturer's race by assuming that getting two wheels in the air after clipping a sausage kerb wouldn't incur a penalty. Even sticking Mediums on the front of my Lambo didn't help, they still wore out faster than the rears.

Well that was unexpected Wonder if Citroën is going to call me

Number 1 & 2 were faster by quite a margin (Aston Martin and Porsche) The Aston needed to pit for tires while the Porsche was on the same strategy as me. He waisted his tires before the end and the Aston on a fresh set came quickly back. They both braked extremely late in the corner just before the chikanes which made it possible for me to pass them on the inside. Resulting in my first online win and that in a FIA event

Pit bug! I get nothing but the HUD and a black screen upon leaving the pit. Wonderful how this continues to happen after several months.

I tried entering the 6pm Nations Cup race, got disconnected just before matching...

EDIT: Couldn't get into the 8pm race, either. I'll just skip this round.

Welp, first FIA race ever. Nations Cup. Started 11th, went for H on front tyres and M on rear. Stayed out of trouble, managed to last until, lap 7 then went for M on all four wheels. Ended up finishing 5th just by being consistent. Lots of folks going wide off track and the like.
Pretty happy with the result.

Mfg cup sucks. I had lancer so not fastest on straights. A person kept bumping my rear on straights, then hitting wall intentionally. I ended up getting 9 sec penalty because he do it few times. Puts me deaf last. Managed to take a few cars before end. Abusing the penalty system needs looking at.

Beware Manu race. I was fine in 14th until a huge punt and everyone from 15th back used me as their wall. Why even bother if you're going to "race" like that.

I'm not sure if I was really lucky 10 times or really unlucky once in the Manufacturers race, I drove that chicane the same every lap.

So, you know that one glitch in open lobbies where you have to wait a long time after starting the race just to get to the grid, and multiple people end up disconnecting once the grid finally shows? That issue is officially bleeding into FIA lobbies now.

I got a black screen after the countdown for the final ended (could still here the intro music though) and it looked like the game crashed. I watched Windfire's stream because he was in the same lobby I was in and it seemed to take over a minute just to get to the grid walk after the intro ended on his screen. I was 1 of only 2 people to disconnect. Additonally, the drivers behind me didn't move up to my slot, and considering how fast Tokyo South is, I imagine that screwed over their races as well.

If that doesn't convince PD to fix this ongoing issue, I'm not sure what will.
