Is the tire wear bad enough in Nations to make the F50 or XBow worth using versus the M4? I haven’t been able to do race practice
Biggest tip I've got is watch your qualy.
Long laps and only 10 minutes, so if your late out of pit-lane you'll have to hustle to get 2 flying laps in with fresh(ish) tyres.
I got caught heading up the main straight ready to start my 2nd flying lap (after 1 pit-stop) when the timer ran out.![]()
A year ago there was the same FIA Gr.1 race on Lago Maggiore and one of the top FIA racers used the Peugeout L750R HYbrid which did well. There's more in it. TCS 3 is okay. Love the Group C cars. I bet there could be a full grid of Group C, if the faster drivers tried them. Wasn't even a hassle to lay down this time.
Edit. In 919 territory. Still more in it.
Edit2: The 908 is real slick

Guys, if you make another login using the same psplus (like many people do when joinning a racing team) you can participate on FIA races normally (with both accounts)?

Good speed and acceleration and isn't too rough on corners
I remember that. The L750R ended up being the most popular choice in the Americas region top lobbies, which I think still included C & S America at the time. There were a couple other competitive choices, mainly the Porsche I believe. Not sure about all the changes to BOP and tire wear since then, which may affect the "meta" choices this time around. I love Gr.1 so I'll definitely be doing some testing for this race. Also, I think back then fuel was more of a concern in these races. Not sure about this time around but lately there has been a lot less emphasis on fuel management.
The 1 stop with M/M in the manufactures with the V12 Vantage and a DS4 is so close on tyres but made it work. finished 4th after a rubbish qualifying session with 1 fast lap put me 12th
Yeah that 4th lap the tyres had virtually diedYea, I haven't raced yet but in practice whether you undercut or overcut you only really struggle on the 4th lap or 7th lap, the rest isn't too bad.
Manufacturers (Chose VW)
I'm curious, Beetle or VGT? I'm also with VW in North America and went with the Beetle.
I wish Tokyo would just go away and never come back.
Black screen on track on warmup and qualifying. Will the race be ok?![]()
Yeah I went with the Beetle. Not sure why but I just find it easy to drive compared to other Group 3 cars, and it is very good on twisty circuits.I'm curious, Beetle or VGT? I'm also with VW in North America and went with the Beetle.
