Response of the clutch pedal when using the steering wheel controllers “G25 Racing Wheel”, “G27 Racing Wheel”, “T500RS” and “TH8RS” has been adjusted.
Finally we get full clutch slip, not just a microscopic one at the center of travel.

Now possible to select “Disable collisions” in the [Event Settings] of online races.
I have a feeling it'll be like ghosting but just better, great addition for free lobby.

Rate of tire wear in endurance races has been slowed (excluding formula cars).
Yaaay, racing softs will now last a qualifying session, not just one lap.

Amount of air resistance change when altering aerodynamic wing settings has been increased.
Full aero has been the way to go since the game came out, there were never any disadvantages to using full aero (and in case of FGT full aero actually meant the car went faster).

Adjusted the changes in control characteristic when altering vehicle height from standard height.
Oh my God! Finally they're fixing the reverse settings bug.

Sounds great and will change lots of things, especially online and tuning. Looking forward to this update.

"• ID’s are now shown above cars when watching online races."

Oh dear, I hope that doesn't include when watching replays of online races. If it does, I hope we can turn them off. I hope they fix the awful disappearing engine sound bug too.

:nervous:

PS: I hope your assumptions are all correct.

Let's hope they don't fix the new glitches everyone loves, Interior and getting cars out of Photo travel.

Hoping that is all it does, and doesn't actually increase/decrease any effects... otherwise a LOT of tunes will need to be re-worked. :nervous:

Yep. I use ride height more than anything to balance my cars. Maybe we will just be able to swap front and rear ride heights. Maybe the update will do it for us.

This clutch update better be worth while and realistic i want it to feel like Live for Speed, if we have to deal with miss shifting like we do now they are wasting their time. There is no reason why we should have to take our foot completely of the gas to recognize a shift.

*their time. :) Grammar Nazi

Nice to see that they are still improving and fixing stuff. I wonder what kind of unnoticed changes they've made under the hood. They always mess with more stuff.

I do hope the clutch adjustment means:

A: The clutch is analog and not a digital on/off switch (it's a pedal for a reason - to apply a varying amount of pressure).

B: You can change gears without releasing the accelerator (I know you're not supposed to do that, but if you messed up a shift and didn't let release the accelerator, it would stop it from going into neutral).

P.s. Don't let kaz see your comment. He will ruin it like how he did with F1 cars and go karts

Aerodynamic change: This is my favorite change for sure. Hopefully, we'll see some interesting changes in acceleration from cars like the GT-One and the Super GT NSXs. They have a high top speed in their current form.

Tire wear change: Although this was needed, I wouldn't surprised if we lost the feel of strategy from using medium and hard tires. They will be nearly useless since the soft tires would probably pull ahead 30+ seconds before a pit stop.

Characteristics of ride height: I hope that this goes beyond ride height alone. If not, cars like the R10 and C60 Hybride will need a huge change in settings because the front and rear ride heights were asymmetric.

I wonder if the spoiler changes mean you can also see a slight change in appearance on cars too.

I don't think so, but I think those changes (aerodynamics, new tire wear) are results from that test version that Lucas Ordonez was shown using in this pic:

"The special development version of Gran Turismo brought into the garage. Damper strength, spring ratio, aerodynamics and fuel economy can be set in an instant and test driven."

I'm hoping max downforce shaves off way more top speed than it does now.

What is it, like 2-3 mph difference between min and max downforce?
