Very cool advertising! I'm a big fan of what Sony is doing to catch our attention.

Look at this! Look at what's happening! A simple banner ad for the PS3 is much more exciting than an entire 30 minute XBox infommercial. Gee, I wonder who's gonna win this console war?

If they did it would certainly overshadow the new XBox 360. I'm a huge fan of both consoles but it seems to me that Microsoft pulled the Xbox 360 out of their ass. The have done a horrible job of unvieling it in my opinion. That MTV special was utter crap. 👎

Well, the 3 on "change" indicates that the next Sony console might be named Playstation 3 indeed. Either that or Sony is trying some 1337 stuff.

I solved the puzzle above. They are half of the buttons Triangle, Circle, X, and Square!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So what does this mean..........................?

It means you didn't read post #3 in this thread.

All billboard ads that feature the symbols have the symbols disappearing. That's why it looks like half. The photo was taken at the point when the symbols were half disappeared.

Did it fail? I never heard what became of it. I heard rumors it was supposed to sell here but never did. But I also never heard how it did in Japan. Was it actually a unit they were going to sell, or just something they thought they'd show off?

Yeah, it sold in Japan. But, not very well. It cost around $700.00.

at first i thought it was odd those prices look familiar expecially since the poster lives in Brazil... maybe thats how thier currency is ALSO?

BUT THEN he said they were from L.A. well i can sure vouche for that even though i havent been to LA for awhile, gas prices in Cali are the highest in the U.S, and northern cali has even higher gas prices than Socal. can you say $3.10 Supreme in San Francisco?
