The one in my signature (I tend to change it every now and then) is from the time when there was an Argentine GP.
Yeah, that´s what I wasn´t getting. I didn´t think Schumacher was in F1 back then.

Some hilarious lines you got there, though.

"Do my eyes decieve deceive me, or is that Ferrari sounding rough?"

I used to have that one as a sig, but instead of Ferrari it said "Senna's Ferrari", I think.

I think 1998 was the year of the last Argentine GP

another few:
- 'I'm going to stop the start watch'
- 'It's raining and the track is wet'
- 'Mansell is slowing it down, taking it easy. Oh no he isn't! It's a lap record.'
- 'Rally points scoring is 20 for the fastest, 18 for the second fastest, right down to 6 points for the slowest fastest.'
- 'Schumacher is still the fastest man on the track, not only by virtue of the fact that he leads the Australian Grand Prix, but he also holds the fastest lap'

These guys have a big collection of them: click on Quotes, on the left side of the page.

Is Murray Walker still around as a commentator, by the way?

Good link 👍

No, sadly Murray isn't commentating on F1 any more (though I think he's done a few guest slots on things like the Goodwood Revival). The current ITV F1 commentary team is Martin Brundle and James Allan. Brundle is great for his practical knowledge and insight and James Allan isn't.

@ Slick Rick...I believe that quote is an exact one, I'm sure some of the quotes have been slightly exaggerated but most of them are true and faithful to the original

I got this really funny one but how do you make the picture appear?

Alonso gives Ralf the ol' "California wave" after being punted in Monaco.
(censored as this is a family site :))

I dont think he realises hes going down a hill around 150mph and about to crash!

About 15 years ago your life may have flashed before your eyes but now thanks to safety advances you have a chance to express your feelings.

Didn't he do the same when Ralf went passed him as he stood by the barriers??

I think that time he pointed him with another finger, while he said something like "Go Ralf! Go Ralf!"

With his supporting cheerleaders... GIMME A R, GIMME AN A, GIMME A L, GIMME A F!! WHAT DO WE HAVE!?

Then the rest is blocked out by the sound of a Ferrari driven by a person called Michael...

If this one entered the caption game, we could spend months making up captions... sadly, it's not. Anyhow, this picture rocks.

The car's turning left and Rossi's leaning to take a right-hander. He won't get far like that :p

Funny in theory though
