Wow!!! Imagine finding ways to get up all of those mountain cliffs! The scenery is insane in that shot! Is anyone else getting Forza Horizon 1 vibes from that screenshot btw? Grrr I want to explore that area so baaaad!

It'll be fun jumping off those shelves in Trailblazer and the cross country events everyone else seems to hate except for me.

It does appear to be a really pretty map. It's actually kind of a shame it's for a pretty narrowly focused racing game. I kind of want to get out of the car and walk around a bit...

I can imagine just how thrilling those events will be with these cliffs! I don't hate cross country either, but I did hate freeroam rush. 😤 lol.

I'm not an online type but remember some of those FH2 Storm Island events when you had to power off the side of a mountain to land on some tiny cliff edge road. Loads of fun.

As far as I can determine there's no disk version available for PC. If so your disk would only be playable on console.

This FAQ only talks about Play Anywhere (the Forza cross-play initiative) being included with the digital purchase of the game. I'd check with your retailer if I were you.

So I just pre-ordered the Premium edition and see that Expansion 1 & 2 placeholders installed. But the other content that Premium gets did not install. Welcome Pack, Car Pass and VIP.

Is this the case for everyone else who pre-ordered the Premium version?

Holy cow. All of these pictures they've shown off of the environment/world have been stunning. But I don't think any of them have struck me quite as much as this one. Holy atmosphere.

I hope this means something more for the targa-variant cars like Carrera GT, MC12, etc. where you can choose to remove the tops.

It can play out just like it does in Forzavista where the screen quickly goes black, and you hear the noise of the roof coming on/off before returning.

Yup like a little black screen when you enter drone mode, would work perfectly fine.

Hope they show some of that underground tunnels in the city. Can't wait to hear the cars in there popping flames and crackle.

I'm actually at the point now where I don't wish to know any more about the map. I know about the general biomes which is good enough for me.

One of the fun things of games like these is exploring the new map when you start the game. It's like those movie trailers that show you all the good bits of the film before you go to watch it in the cinema. If you have seen it all already, it spoils all the fun, in my opinion.

So, I'll probably be avoiding the Let's Go presentations from now on.

I'll be interested in seeing the car list though when they start to release more info on that.

Now for the shocking news.
Ken Block & Hoonigan's car may not appear in FH5.
This article features Ken Block's latest video, but pay attention to the sticker on the bumper of his WRX.
Notice the CSR2 sticker where the Forza Horizon logo used to be, and the Forza logo is nowhere to be seen.

Looks like a partnership with Hoonigan for the STi and Trophy Truck going by CSR's Twitter. However, given CSR2 is a mobile game, I think this allows them to license out cars much quicker and easier without causing conflict for major console/PC titles. After all, they seem to already have the 2020 AMG-Merc. F1 (something I thought F1/Codemasters retained exclusivity over anything F1), Lotus Emira, & McLaren Artura, cars I don't think anyone else has gotten out yet b/c they'll likely be saved for titles like GT7, FM8, FH5, etc. With that assumed, I would think the door for Hoonigan to appear is still there though I also know in the back of my mind, there's other factors involved that may entirely invalidate my assumption.
