Maybe they'll pretend to announce it on April 1st.And it still gets skipped next month lol. Hope im wrong though
Tomorrow after the patch downloads, I assume. When is this car pack available to purchase? I really want to get my hands on that Ginetta.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day, lol.I'm gonna guess the MC20 until it actually shows up lol. Gotta be right once.
Honestly same, I don't care if I look like I'm huffing copium, this is probably where the MC20 is gonna be at if it's anywhere at all.I'm gonna guess the MC20 until it actually shows up lol. Gotta be right once.
If I may play devil's advocate: This might not necessarily have been strong enough to completely fund all of these. The Car Vouchers were added in December, so some evergreen MTX had to be taken into account to ensure you didn't have Series like American Automotive or Winter Wonderland. So that is now 6 straight series of car packs (if we count Series 28/29 as one, since there was only one update for them)
If we go back to Series 22, we've had 8 car packs in 10 series.
Crazy amount of car content being added, and I think it's clear the shift PG has made in car content delivery for FH5
Essentially the car packs are funding the updates. PG getting an additional guaranteed revenue stream each month helps subsidize the free content coming to the game, and that has been significantly better since the introduction of car packs.
Yeah that's a fair point, the car vouchers definitely help in this equation as well, and probably provide small revenue stream that further subsidizes costs. If I may play devil's advocate: This might not necessarily have been strong enough to completely fund all of these. But I think it makes sense; two months after these first came to the game, we got the Tsuru, a car that, by PG's own admission, was apparently quite difficult to source. We might not have a good idea of how long car models take to develop, but there's definitely a strong case for the car packs helping out.
Yeah; especially since a lot of the reward cars being added back into the Autoshow were expensive enough to warrant the use of vouchers in the first place, to say little of the vintage Le Mans cars they added for... I think it was Winter Wonderland? Either way, it's odd that they aren't doing that again, when they have data from the Suggestions Hub to show that people actually really like the idea of adding past exclusives to the Autoshow; maybe they figured the Takeover and community challenge would be enough, but then you look at the Hard-to-Find cars this Series and it's all... very early Year One stuff that could have been easy Autoshow addition fodder, like the Gallardo Spyder?Yeah that's a fair point, the car vouchers definitely help in this equation as well, and probably provide small revenue stream that further subsidizes costs.
Who knows how many car packs they sell and how profitable they are, but the correlation is pretty clear IMO. And the additional revenue definitely helps, for sure.
Speaking of car vouchers, I'm surprised they haven't added more cars straight into the Autoshow (or past exclusives) after the introduction of them tbh.
I'm afraid he even scooped you on the Ginetta G10 RM news.Dang it, sorry Famine! Need to respect your work more often.
A quiz that's more difficult than spotting the visual differences between Huracan/Aventador variants and easier than spotting the visual differences between the (insert 3 random numbers and 2 random letters of the alphabet here) series McLaren and current 911 GT(n) series...Only a glorified facelift, with minor styling differences (as mentioned in my opinionated thoughts about this series)

What's interesting is that the car doesn't actually appear to exist. Ginetta announced it in 2019 buuuut hasn't made any yet. It's slated for a debut this year, but not in the original form; Ginetta's decided to make it less of a toolroom copy/continuation and more a restomod in the spirit of the original.I'm afraid he even scooped you on the Ginetta G10 RM news.
That's one of the standard bumper options on the GT500 and is probably the most common. The standard option has the fogs off to the sides, next to the headlights. I really hope there's options for an Eleanor conversion....
Unfortunately it looks like filler content regarding car families is still going strong. In FM23 we just got a 86 TRD SE which is not worth a space on the car pass as it has the same customization options as the older models, and is just a glorified facelift with a TRD trimpieces and pinstripe.A quiz that's more difficult than spotting the visual differences between Huracan/Aventador variants and easier than spotting the visual differences between the (insert 3 random numbers and 2 random letters of the alphabet here) series McLaren and current 911 GT(n) series...

I mean we've had these added in the past 7 series alone, it's a pretty nice list - coming from what the EOL FH4 updates were, and the early FH5 series updates were, these are much much big and better IMO in terms of cars. A lot more models coming and a lot of them being New-to-Forza as well.
So while I do get the car pack complaints, if it's resulting in more & better cars coming to everyone in the Festival Playlist, then keep them coming!
Guessing PG decided not to include it on their own, considering the Eleanor lawsuit was settled in favor of Shelby. Maybe it would have cost too much, or they figured folks would rather make GT350s than Eleanors. There's not.
The Crew Motorsport is clearly their biggest competitor right now which is good because even though I think The Crew did bite a little bit off of FH its still has its own identity. I like how FH just slaughters its competiton in car roster count alone. Over 830 cars now and counting if im correct which is wild. One has to wonder if the existence of Crew Motorfest has made PG up their game a bit as well. Competition is a good thing, and you love to see it. Plus they probably know Motorfest is coming out on Steam on 4/18 too.
On a different note hopefully Apex Takeover gives us not only the new Maserati but maybe the new Civic as well? Seems like this is the type of update that would be good for that car.
Yeah, I'm almost wondering if this is part of a marketing partnership with Ginetta. Small percentage of proceeds from the car pack go towards production of the restomod, maybe. Hasn't been unusual for restomods to be part of these, after all. What's interesting is that the car doesn't actually appear to exist. Ginetta announced it in 2019 buuuut hasn't made any yet. I do recall someone who worked at Ginetta accidentally revealed in an Instagram comment that the modelling team did scan every car that was there. Potentially there's one complete prototype in its original, intended form that, despite not being publicly shown, they didn't mind having in the game? Hard to say, but it happens sometimes. The original Most Wanted had a Grande Punto before they launched, which had a 6-speed gearbox and 5-lug wheels as standard, yet neither of those were available for the real car in any trim.Don't worry, I was just having mild fun

Meanwhile the original concept car is...
